I was very pleased with how quickly they got me in for an acute eye appointment for a new patient. Dr. Ben Gootee was very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. He was very compassionate and considerate. The staff was very friendly and supportive as well. I am in limbo with an eye doctor and I am considering switching to this office for my future needs. Thank you for treating me well, and so nice on my first visit! I believe I am on the mend with my eye infection. Thank you!!

I arrived for my yearly appointment and as I named the doctor I was supposed to see, they said she was no longer there and I would be seeing Doctor Ben. Doctor Ben was an unexpected blessing. He updated by prescription to the best one I have ever had and now I love to wear my glasses and it has even improved my night vision issues. He has a friendly, helpful staff and I don't even mind the 1.5 hour drive to get there to see them. Definitely a 5 star rating!!! Jean Roberts

Dr Gootee and the staff at Precision Eye-Columbus were friendly, caring, and punctual. I am new to the area and asked around for recommendations, Precision Eye Columbus was recommended. I couldn't be happier to receive this recommendation and have gone to their practice.

Update: Dr. Deak gave me an emergency appointment after calling her office regarding random unknown strain in my right eye which was also causing pain in forehead/head. She did imagery and routine checkup and told me my iris has inflammation and prescribed me a steroid drip that upon the first 30 minute removed the pain. She also sold me microwavable eye mask that helps with potential future eye strain. Unfortunately, I did not know the problem is my eyes initially and I tolerated for 2-3 days until I couldn't any further. When I told them the symptoms over the phone, they had me visit their office right away. I am extremely grateful for the immediate and precise service I receive. The technician who did the optomap was extremely nice since I was in a lot of pain and following instructions was hard for me but she was just so patient with me. Dr. Kelley Deak, O.D. and her staff, Rachel, Hannah, and Adam are very nice, listening, flexible, helpful, and friendly. I got to know about Dr. Deak through a personal recommendation and I highly recommend her now after seeing her twice. She used high-end technology called optomap for creating a retinal imagery. Having gone through an eye surgery almost 4 months ago I was really worried about my eye health and she was able to show me through the imagery that the surgery was effective and my eye is healed up. I recently have been having problem seeing items in the monitor when I am coding or even my phone and she prescribed a new addition to the bottom of the lenses for my prescription eye glasses that has a magnifying effect. Hannah, the front desk staff, has been very helpful with setting up my appointments and walking me through various step. Rachel, the O.D. assistant is very nice and ran various test on me and prepared for the appointment. Adam, who fits the glasses was very patient with me finding a new glasses. When I saw my after visit notes I was very impressed to see this level of detail and learn more about my eyes health. I really appreciate Rachel's and Dr. Deak's time for those notes. The office and bathroom are very clean and the place is very quiet and peaceful only 8 min walking away from bus #5 and downtown. They gave me free glasses lens cleaning solution which was very nice. They also gave me free samples of contacts to try on. The fitting of the new contact that Dr. Deak has suggested to me is much better and I have less light sensitivity with it. Thank you so much. My insurance is VSP and they are in-network with it. They also accept the FSA Optum card for payments.

This is the best eye doctor I have ever been to. Everyone was so friendly and the doctor was so kind and explained things I could understand.

Met Dr. Ben Gootee for the first time at this practice for an annual exam. I am very happy with the care I received. He handles questions very well, in addition to offering information about what's going on in one's eyes, past & present, which was very reassuring. While my prescription hadn't changed enough to require a new one, he tweaked a measurement that has been a big improvement in my vision. The entire support staff is also great, addressing me by my name, which to me, says a lot about everyone there. I like going into any business where everyone seems to be happy. I certainly left with a smile on my face.

The front office, John, was very courteous and professional. The exam was good, Dr Gootee explained everything about my vision issues. I will go for yearly exams or more often if I have problems.

So real, so kind, so professional , so thorough. Amazing service. Dr.Ben and his team make eye care 20/20 for me or better. Especially in complex medical condition history. My new eye glasses are extremely cool looking. Love this service, their care.
