Love the team here! Dr. Housekenecht was thorough and explained my eye health in ways I could understand. Jessica helped me find the right pair of glasses, and despite the office being very busy and training new coworkers, she was delightful to work! I didn't feel like a number or rushed. She was also very thorough in explaining my insurance benefits, cost, etc. Huge bonus as a busy mom--you can schedule an appointment online in only a couple of minutes! So impressed with my experience!

I worked with Jessica at the Dunlap location and let me tell you what.. I've been going to eye doctors since forever. I've been wearing glasses since I was 2 years old, but this was THE BEST eye care I've ever experienced. Being newly postpartum, looking in the mirror feels like I'm looking at a stranger. Trying to find myself again, relearn who I am, has been so difficult and although I had never met Jessica before, she somehow helped spark some confidence in this NEE version of myself. She was kind, encouraging, hilarious, charismatic, and all around a great person. SO GRATEFUL and so blessed to have interacted with her that day. 10/10 would absolutely recommend!

I would highly recommend. The staff was wonderful. They took the time to make sure I understood everything. They also made sure I knew what my insurance covered. The Doctor made sure I know what was going on with my eyes made sure I was comfortable with my prescription and what I was getting. I have never been to an eye doctor office that took the time to make sure I knew everything that they took the time to cover.

Saturday morning at Dr.Tavel was full of light and laughs. Cassie made us feel welcome and set up our insurance and payment options. Angel was a blessing and set us in the chair and prepared aus for the Dr. While comforting us and making us happy. Dr. Housenick was very nice and efficient with the exam. And then we had Jessica help with our fit and fashion. Over all it was a great experience and I recommend getting your eye care at a place that helps and cares what the experience is like. 5 stars

I had an appointment on Decenber 29th! Great place, great staff! We were greeted immediately upon entering. From start to finish it was a great experience! I felt nothing but welcomed the entire time! Awesome teamwork as well!

The tech told me in person the eye exam was $79.95. I paid my bill. A month later they send me a bill for NEW PATIENT which is $149. Turned me into a creditor for $130 they hounded me for months. I finally just paid it. They lost 3 patients over this. My sons have been going for a couple years thats why I decided to try them. But PATIENTS BEWARE they up charge for new patients and dont tell you about it. I dont know about you but to charge new patients after the fact is ridiculous and to charge almost twice as much. Go elsewhere its cheaper and the service is better.
