America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I had a terrible customer service experience at America's Best. I ordered two pairs of glasses expecting good value. The eye exam itself was fine, but the experience completely went downhill during the purchase process. I was charged for multiple add-ons that were never clearly presented as optional. The representative spoke extremely fast and rushed me through the transaction, and before I fully realized what was happening, I had already swiped my card for nearly $300. After getting home and reviewing the charges, I felt taken advantage of and called the next day to discuss the transaction. Unfortunately, I spoke with the same representative. Instead of listening to my concerns, she incorrectly reversed the order--returning the glasses that were covered by my insurance and charging me for the ones I was supposed to pay for out of pocket. I didn't discover this mistake until I went to pick up my glasses and questioned the charges. She apologized, I paid the $25 copay, and now I'm left waiting again for the glasses my insurance actually covers. This experience left a very bad impression. America's Best operates like a discount shark--getting you in the door with low prices and then piling on unnecessary upgrades and charges without full transparency. My first visit years ago was nothing like this, but after this experience, I will not be returning. I'm not going to out the employee but just a warning to the average consumer: pay very close attention, ask for itemized pricing, and don't let yourself be rushed.

Very good selection of glasses at this location! The employees are very kind and willing to help you. Prices are fair for what you are getting as well. This is my favorite place to get my glasses as they have named brands such as Nike, Adidas, Calvin Klein etc. This place always seems so clean compared to other locations which is nice! I would recommend stopping by if you are in need for some glasses!

Dr. James, Alex, Abby and the rest of the crew were amazing. Super personable, explained everything extensively, and exuded such airy, bright energy! Everyone in the store helped me pick out new frames and they ensured the process was seamless, the appointment didn't feel the least bit like a chore. Highly recommend them!

Just called to aquire about some help, and whoever you have answering your phones has DISGUSTING customer service. Answered the phone and didnt inteoduce herself, i honestly thought i called the wrong number. Asked my question and she seemed so bothered that she had to talk to me. Then i can literally hear how hard she slammed the phone to hangup . Do better.

Needed an appointment really bad because my glasses were broken. they got me in within two days and i even got a trial pair of contacts for the mean time until i get my new glasses <3 thank this amazing team of wonderful people. especially when taking into consideration my headaches and issues seeing at night.

I made a same day appointment. I told the eye Dr that I've been having trouble with a previous prescription and he got to work. I literally told him I haven't been able to see that good in a really long time, if ever! The staff was so friendly and complimented my glasses choice. They gained a long term customer for sure!

They have literally the best eye doctor I have ever been to! Dr. Horvath is amazing. He's personable, smart and he remembers his patients. Great demeanor, very respectful. I hope he never leaves this branch. The manager is very helpful as well!
