Outdated office. When I walked in I heard him yelling at another patient about her finances telling her to go to the trustees office. My visit took 2 hours and he was late due to yelling at another patient. Questions that had nothing to do with my eyesight were asked. Very unprofessional and rude. Tried to make me make an appointment with a medical insurance specialist with me on speakerphone. Called my former doctor while I was at his office and yelled at them about releasing my medical records. No concept of HIPPA.

Pretty much the same experience as the other reviews with rude and impatient Dr. Puts the eye drops in a nearly tears my eyelids off. Seated me in the exam room and in the middle of exam, the Dr. called the nurse out to help with getting PPE loans via phone, and left me sitting for 1/2 hour. No masks on staff during the pandemic, yet he is trying to get loans for PPE??? check out they are trying to figure out computer and left me standing. The computer looked like a 1990 model (probably to match the 70's decor). They make you fill out a review card with them watching you. Stupid enough to come back for 2nd exam in a few months, although I just needed an yearly diabetic exam (so he is milking insurance $. for 3rd apt), the office left a msg that they needed to reschedule my apt. They continued to call at least 3x's a day, each day for a two weeks. I finally answered and told them I would not be returning.

As soon as I walked into the office, I felt that I was in my great grandmother's house. The furniture and the equipment are extremely outdated. I checked in had a seat and the secretary and Dr. Braunlin were arguing with each other over how to send an email. The phone rang and the phone call was held on speaker, which I could easily hear. Finally, I was called back into the exam area. My exam started and then I was asked to move to a chair while another patient was brought into my exam room and examined IN FRONT OF ME. Can you say HIPPA violation? Then I was moved to another room and given eye drops without any consent or being told what they were. The doctor could not hear a word I said unless I spoke very loudly. I will NOT be going back to Dr. Braunlin and I will be going to another doctor to redo my exam. The staff was very unprofessional.

This worthless old "doctor" needs to be put out to pasture. Ignores people with real problems and claims that 4 other optometrists are wrong and that they're only there for drugs and need "help." What kind of addict goes to an optometrist??? Claims he can't see any astigmatism...surprised he can see anything with those broken Coke bottles he calls glasses. He keeps repeating himself even after you prove his point invalid, and has to have nurses repeat everything with a yell. Speaking of loudmouths, he and nurses TWICE violated HIPAA regulations by discussing personal information with a primary care physician at the check-in counter by the waiting room OVER SPEAKERPHONE. Inconsiderate and condescending staff all around. Then again, who doesn't like being accused of being a drug addict? I am posting this as a secondhand story, but heard from someone I know and trust enough to enrage me. Do not visit this "man," hopefully in a few more years I won't have to worry about anyone ever being offended by this professional loser ever again.

Dr. Earl Braunlin is possibly the worst eye doctor in the state of Indiana. Ignorant and rude. Outdated personality, outdated office, overall a terrible experience. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!

Absolutely the rudest individual I've ever heard in a conversation with another human being. Heard him say, and I quote "I cannot understand when women talk"... I don't know what else I can add to this for people to understand this man is horrible.

Will go back, had none of the problems these other people did. Enjoyed my visit and was treated very well. The glasses are terrific.

I would never return. My concerns were not addressed and I was rudely spoken to. I called my insurance plan ( who referred me) and filed a complaint.
