I have been here up to 2 years, and I've had a great experience each time.
The place is always clean and organized. Additionally, the people are always kind and willing to help. The employee directing people to the room for their eye scans was so cheerful! They handled and explained to guests very well!
My two complaints and suggestions would be appointment policies.
I was very surprised to be welcomed by a very sick person at the location in the late morning. They were red face, nose clogged, and even scratched themselves? Also, what is this immodesty to do the scratching and adjusting shoes in front of a customer?
Lastly, I stayed an abnormally extra half hour waiting to pay. It seemed the person struggled to tell me what the expenses (appointment, contacts, frames, etc) due to no one else being available to answer the phones.
The person did apologize, but I do not think it's necessarily their fault. The company needs to fix their online appointment page. I had to call for an appointment after waiting almost a full week for feedback on their online application.
Been going to Longe Optical for 20+ years haven't been there in a while til earlier week. The eye exam went well besides going to look at what frames would work well etc. I had a couple of questions and the lady I was talking to didn't know too much as she was still new as I was asking her about getting something close to my current style of glasses i had on and she had no clue of which frame would work as any lens would fit a frame . Wise knowledge if your new always ask other co workers input as it will help correct issues down the road. 2 days later I get a call that there in which i was very surprised as i was told they would be in a week. I go pick them up and they were more like readers than an everyday glasses. Plus the lady that gave them to me at the front desk didn't even sit down mostly just said how do they look at the front desk. I worn them for like 10 mins til I was getting a headache as there were so many lines and they wouldn't fit properly as they fell off numerous times and about cracked.
Update: Shout out to Grace as she wanted to help correct the errors that occurred as I found out they were a basic plan than the plan that I was currently wearing when I was asking the lady that was helping me earlier in the week. She was very patient, very understanding, helpful, and is there for her clients to make sure they are satisfied. She even had us sit at one of the desks and was easy to work with.
I recently had an appointment for myself and my two young boys ages 4 and 5 at the Jefferson location. I couldn't have had a better experience. The staff was kind and Dr. Dues Schoenherr was amazing with my kids - very patient. The entire visit was efficient and timely. Will definitely be using their office for future visits.
What an awesome store and staff. It's obvious from the minute you walk in the door that the staff share their desire to assist you. They all seem to enjoy being there and support one another. The store is easy to access and extremely clean, which is a must for me. They are always willing to work with me on scheduling. And the doctors take the time to answer and explain all your questions. I would highly recommend!
I've always had good service Longe Optical. I've been going there 60+ years, since a child. Just got my eyes checked and wanted office glasses. They have made my glasses twice and also have put the lenses in on the wrong sides, still couldn't get it right. I'm waiting on the third pair, if they can't get it right I'm going elsewhere.
Update: Well they didn't get the third pair of glasses right. They refunded my money without a fuss and also got my insurance claim refunded. I will be going back to Costco to get glasses.
My optometrist, Dr. Kennedy, was remarkably warm, gentle, patient, and thorough throughout my appointment. She expertly answered all of my questions, demonstrating an exceptional understanding of my vision and eye health without me needing to provide extensive details. I am truly impressed by Dr. Kennedy's attentive and personalized approach, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her services to anyone.
I am so done with Lounge. I like my eye Dr and there ,Jefferson store. I love the selection but the people up front are useless. There is always different people working up front and they cannot fit glasses to me and make them comfortable and make no effort to make sure they fit your face. Not sure if they are even trained to adjust glasses and make sure they fit.
My last visit they put the wrong script in my new glasses and didn't have all the options I paid for. I do realize that that is probably the lab they sent it to but the lab only goes off of what is sent to them on what to make and that was wrong. I have been going to them maybe 10 years now and never and a visit that went ok. There was always something that went wrong.
I sure do miss my old place called Visions. Dr Dewert was awesome and Kevin sure knew how to fit glasses to your face.
If I could have, I would have left no stars. Very disappointed in launch optical they are not the same as they used to be. They screwed up my prescription and the order three times and still didn't get it right I finally went somewhere else to get it and they got it right the first time. My wife had the same experience it took 3 months to get contacts because they never ordered them twice. I miss the old Longe Optical!!! They really cared about the patient not just the $$$$.
Now my whole family has switched to a new optometrist and are very happy.
They go they go the extra mile to make sure the patient is happy.
