Everyone has always been so caring and friendly! I have horrible anxiety. Front desk, process and doctors have done an amazing job making me feel comfortable taking care of me. Front desk is friendly and definitely made me smile. The process of getting the "PUFF OF AIR" to my eyes was a breeze. Worst part, but they are very understanding. .
Doctors focus on what's important to you as well as your eye health. Listen to them!
This office is wonderful.
Oh! Also, VERY important and obviously something you should look up...if you get your eyes dilated and are unable to drive afterward, make sure you have someone to drive you home. Don't complain to the company doing the procedure. Be prepared with a driver. Otherwise don't agree or sign up for dilation.
Went in for a routine eye exam. I got there about 10 minutes early, and was able to get in right after my appointment time. All went well, I had no issues with anything. The doctor I saw also did extra searching to make sure everything was looking good since it had been several years since I've seen an eye doctor.
Negative should be given! My daughter broke her glasses and I called to order new ones. I was asked about the lenses and told them that I had got super glue on the one lense. The rep told me that the warranty was voided and they would have to order frames as well. A week later received a text message stating her glasses was in. The appointment was this morning, so I pulled my daughter from school real quick to pick up her glasses. We get there and the rep asked did we have her old lenses because they only ordered the frames. Well that was a waste of my gas, time, and my daughter is missing class for their mistake! Did I get an apology nope! They wasn't even willing to acknowledge they made a mistake. I'm thinking the lack of empathy meant they don't like us because of the color of our skin. I'm going to tell all my family and friends to avoid this location as we will after I pick her glasses up next week! They were horrible to us today! We love her eye doctor it was his peons!
Two years ago I went to this location and they dilated my eyes for the exam. As soon as the exam was done, they sat me in their waiting room to wait for glasses and didn't offer me any sort of sunglasses. I ended up having to ask for some from the desk after suffering for 10 minutes in a full sun day. I thought I would give them another chance this year and so I made an appointment and even showed up 20 minutes early for my 3:20pm appointment time. I made sure to check in at the front desk and then had a seat to wait. 3:50pm comes around and I'm frustrated because no one has said a word to me. A front desk representative approaches me and ask if I had an appointment and I responded that I did and it was set for 30 minutes ago. She asked if I checked in and I told her that I had, 50 minutes ago, and she responds with "okay" and then just walks away. No apology for the wait, no "let me see what the holdup is", nothing. If I had shown up 30 minutes late for my appointment then they would have cancelled me! I understand I showed up too early but I sat there for another 10-15 minutes waiting to see if that associate was going to come back to update me but nope. She and 3 others just sat back at the desk talking. I ended up having to walk out and make an appointment at a different business.
I have had great eye care from Dr. Keating at the Dupont site. He is keeping a watch on glaucoma possibility and also has helped me tremendously with severe dry eye, by recommending IPL. Chris, the technician, very kind, skilled, and explanatory performed 4 IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) sessions on my lower eyelid area of each eye. I would describe it as a bit strange and may sound scary. But Chris walks you through what to expect. The very mild discomfort of parts of the procedure were well worth the improvement in my meiobian glands to pretty much fix my dry eye problem. Good job Midwest.
Went in to pick out new glasses, I was working with the optician Hailey . She was very helpful gave me some great advice very caring and knowledgeable.
Great service from the staff of Midwest Eye Consultants. Got my new glasses in record time.
I've spent a long time looking for the perfect eye doctor. I used to go to this other place for about three years, but it just felt like their prices were too steep for what I was getting. Don't get me wrong, their staff was friendly and all, but it was a bit much for what I wanted to pay.
But then, today happened. I got my eyes checked and even snagged a new pair of glasses for a third less than what I used to over at the old place. The people here are real nice, and they know their stuff, and what's really cool is how honest they are, especially McKenna, she's a gem. If a pair of glasses isn't your style, they'd tell you straight up because they actually care about how you look.
I'm really happy with the service, the quality, and the prices at Midwest. I'm will make it a point to tell my family and friends who need their eyes checked to make their appointments soon!
