Robinson Family Eyecare Clinic

I've been going to Dr. Robinson's for as long as I can remember. They have an amazing and friendly staff. I love sitting with Dr. Robinson as he tells me about my eyes and asking questions with him, he's a great doctor and teacher!! It's sucks I only need to come once a year to see them. Highly recommend their services.

I chose Robinson Family Eyecare Clinic after initially choosing the two most highly rated options with the most reviews in Fort Wayne. This was to be my first time getting glasses and because I was nervous about that, I wanted to choose the best provider. After having much difficulty even being able to leave a message for my first choice and then never getting a return call from my second, this put me in a time crunch. I then choose Robinson because of their ratings, late hours, and convenient location for me. As it turned out, I feel Robinson is indeed the best that Fort Wayne has to offer. I couldn't have been happier or more impressed with everyone at this clinic. The woman who operated the machinery, the doctor, and the woman to help me choose a pair of glasses were all very nice and professional. They all took their time with me, never making me feel rushed. They have high tech machines to take images of the back of the eye for diagnosis, so no need for eye dilation. I was told some places charge extra to use these machines, but they are included in the exam here. The doctor explained what the images taken meant in detail and in layman's terms. He was very informative and made me feel very comfortable and confident that I was in good hands. He performed the actual eye exam himself, taking all the time I needed. As a bonus, their selection of frames does not include the ridiculously high priced designer brands, which was great. Unfortunately, I was not able to make a decision on frames that day and I waited too long before my insurance changed two weeks later, so I will not be able to return. I highly recommend them for anyone who wants a personalized experience instead of feeling like just another somebody at one of the larger providers.

Dr. Robinson and all his staff are an excellent group of providers when it comes to eye health. I cannot recommend them enough. Dr. Robinson was able to catch a condition in my sons eye, that if left undetected as it had been by several other providers in the past, would have resulted in the loss of his vision. You can tell Dr. Robinson is genuinely invested in taking care of his patients. He has innovative equipment and is very knowledgeable in his field. He's also great with children. I see him for my vision needs and my son who also sees a specialist at Riley now, continues to see Dr. Robinson for his vision needs. I also really appreciate their hours and that they are almost always are able to work both of us in on the same day for back to back appointments.

I can't recommend them enough! Dr Robinson is VERY knowledgeable. Any question you might have, he will answer it! We love going and learning something new EVERY time. Every visit is unique to you. We would probably travel a few hours to see him if we didn't live in Fort Wayne. He and his staff are wonderful.

I absolutely recommend Dr. Robinson! His staff is great patient and caring. Dr. Robinson himself is just one of a kind he gave me the answers for my special needs son. I had been to a different place and they always rushed and see my son is nonverbal so I felt something was off just no way they were getting things right. Seeing Dr. Robinson he explained everything out first visit here lasted longer then all visits to the other place combined. He showed me the pictures of my son's eyes. He informed me my son's current prescription was too strong and my son would not wear his glasses because they were too strong. After getting his glasses from here he wanted to wear them all the time. It's a bit of a drive for me but hands down it is worth it!

Has the staff quit caring? Had good experience with them for 2 pair Last pair they did a really bad job fitting me and said they couldn't adjust a pair I got there last year. Will not be back
