If I could give zero stars, I would. We ordered sports goggles for my daughter that needed to be picked up by a certain day so she would have them for her next game. I got spun in circles about when it would be shipped to the store that we need to pick up and then come find out today that they just shipped it today and probably won't be there tomorrow like we required, Based on the dates that they gave us when we bought the glasses as to when they would be ready. Do not do business with Walmart vision center

I've had several issues with the quality of care at this location. The staff were not very friendly and even refused to fax my valid prescription to other providers on two separate occasions. However, the Vision Care Center at the Columbia City Walmart is very helpful if you are looking for something similar and still roughly in this area!

Had my appointment 4 weeks ago. That was fine. I ordered a new style of contacts because the old style dry my eyes out. They said see how these work and if you like them we can order you more. Great no problem.
Cut to three weeks later. I call and tell them that this new style doesn't last as long and can I try something else. They're response, "we're sorry but that optometrist no longer works here and there's nothing we can do. You'll have to schedule another appointment with our new optometrist to get a different style.". Are you kidding me!! I will never go back to a Walmart vision center ever again.

Overall very pleased. My prescriptions have always been accurate providing good and proper vision. I usually take the prescription and have it filled on-line with various well known Internet glasses providers, so frame selection and pricing does not figure into my review. I have the Healthy Indiana Plan 2.0 and the optometrist on staff accepts that - however the vision center does not accept it for glasses (which I have found is very common).

I called them yesterday to find out their hours. Nobody answered and the answering machine did not say they were closed, or give an option to hear their hours of operation. I went by today during lunch and the whole store was roped off and a sign said they would be back at 1:30pm, roughly an hour and a half after I arrived there. Wonderful waste of my lunch. You only have one staff member there at any given time?
You've managed to alienate a potential customer with your sloppy work and complete lack of communication. Well done.
