Called to set an appointment, after having been told I have cataracts by my eye doctor and already having been to another eye center near Indianapolis who confirmed and recommended surgery. I simply wanted to get a second opinion and check pricing at another eye center before moving forward. Got the run around with attitude "Do you have a referral"? No, I've already been to another facility and I wanted a second opinion, but my eye doctor did say I have cataracts...."Well, it really would be better if you had a referral" I understand, but I've already been to another eye center, who didn't need a referral BTW, and then I get, not in a nice way, "Who's your eye doctor"? I don't recall her name, it was at a Costco eye center. "Well, I can tell you right now, any appointment at Greenfield will be out until July." OK, forget it, why not just say, we really are busy and don't care because we don't want or need your business.
