Excellent place to go for an eye exam and new glasses. As a disabled veteran I could get a free pair of glasses from the VA but let's face it the selection thats free isn't that great and it doesn't cover everything that you would want to add like anti glare and other protections. I have no insurance so its all out of pocket but I use there payment plan with no problem. They're supper nice and helped me pick out a new pair of glasses out of a pretty nice selection of frames. I was able to get everything on them I needed or wanted. Thank you again!

Couldn't be more happy with my interactions. Appointment was easy to schedule online. Prompt email confirmation as well as a phone call the next morning to ensure efficiency. My eye appointment had each part explained to avoid surprises or being startled. Such as when the burst of air is coming to check part of the eye. Glasses arrived sooner than expected. The local office here in Richmond Indiana I can't say enough good things about it. Beginning with my first contact with Dee Dee, on through the tech visit and the doctor visit. Then back to Dee Dee to help pick out my frames and all the other things that are entailed with ordering new glasses. Finally to the person who wrote up my order and collected my money. It was an extremely positive experience. Then when my glasses came in the fitting was taken care of Minor Adjustments were taken care of. I really like my new glasses and I wholeheartedly recommend if you're looking for glasses or contacts visit Dr Tavel in Richmond Indiana.

It took a long time (3 weeks) to get my new glasses and there is faint writing on my lenses. With insurance and out of pocket cost I expected a perfect pair. They fit great from the day I picked them up and I do love my new look

Took like 1 months to get my trial pair of contacts. Then when I ordered my contact prescription, it was December 11th, I call on January 3rd to check if they are in. They say they have been in for 2 weeks and no we didn't call you that's not our job. Very poor customer service.

I would not recommend this facility. My prescription is so minimal that the only difference from not wearing them at all is I use reading glasses. They should have been honest and told me I really didn't need prescription glasses, instead I paid $500 for a pair of reading glasses. Very disappointed!!
