Whitewater Eye Center Richmond

My highest praises for great customer service yesterday provided by Angela and Haley! Both were outstanding in everything they did taking further texts for my upcoming cataract surgery. This is a very big decision for me and the way Angela took the time to hear my needs, than call me today after consulting Dr. Hainline, she again had every thought and need of mine as she relayed their very best view of what would work best for me. I am so appreciative of the time and care provided throughout. Kelly has also been fantastic working with my changing schedule to get the dates to work best for us all.

I think the care at Whitewater is fine, but make sure you are willing to make a significant investment of your time. No matter what type of appointment you have, you will be there a long time. I waited 90 minutes past my appointment time last time I was there. No one came in to say why they were running so late or when I could expect to see the doctor. This appointment was fairly early in the morning - I'm not sure how they could get so behind so early. When I did finally see the doctor, there was no apology for the wait time or anything other than, "Are you ready to get this done?" Another thing that is a total waste of time is a typical eye appointment. You see several different people, they take pictures of your eye, perform an eye exam, tell you that you need new glasses BUT they do not give you a prescription!! So now you have to go to another doctor to get glasses! In my opinion, save yourself time and just go to another doctor if you need glasses. My other doctor monitors me for all the things they do at Whitewater. Life is short, I'm not spending it sitting in a medical office.

Carrie/Kerri in billing and insurance department is the nicest and most calming person I've ever spoken to over the phone. Keep up the great work with your customers.

Dr. Scripture is wonderful I am very happy and think she does an amazing job with my daughter and her condition. I couldn't ask for a better Dr.

Dr Eric Scripture is friendly and knowledgeable. The unfortunate part of the visit was waiting 45 minutes after appointment time to get called back for pictures. Then we waited another 20 minutes to go to the exam room. Upon asking the front desk employee if Dr Eric was way behind, they were not aware of it. My father is in a wheelchair and would not have asked why the delay so it's a good thing I was with him to see if he had been forgotten.

I didn't have to wait very long. Staff pleasant. As always Dr. Risch was professional and pleasant. I like coming to this office.

just trying to schedule an appointment for a simple problem, and have been hung up on twice in a row by Kathy. She's awfully rude and had 0 interest in assisting or providing service. She demanded a referral for a Convergence issue. Ive seen a Neurovisual institute specialist who has given me the diagnosis and I couldnt even say that before she hung up. Twice. I'm not sure why a referral is required but I I'll jump through the hoops to provide a referral saying so
