They have great service and are very professional. The optometrists are knowledgeable and do a great job reviewing the health of your eyes as well as checking for your medical record. They do listen to the patient concerns and offer proper information and support. They perform both tech based exam as well as manual exams, which makes me feel reassured they are not only relying on technology.

Always fantastic service and eye care. I've never had a difficulty working with them. I feel the health of my eyes are in good hands, and they always help me navigate the best use of my vision insurance.

I had a great experience at Evans & Taylor Eye Care at the Purdue Memorial Union. Dr. Werkmeister was amazing and very professional, kind, and thorough in guiding me through my contact lens fitting. As someone new to contacts, I was nervous at first, but the entire staff was so supportive from the moment I walked in. Also, I had to schedule like 3 times for the training and they helped me each time and they provided excellent one-on-one training, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt completely comfortable with inserting, removing, and caring for my lenses and they scheduled bi weekly feedback sessions to check with my eyes. Their patience and attention to detail made a big difference. I left feeling confident and well taken care of. Highly recommend for anyone at Purdue looking for top-notch eye care!

Severely unfriendly and discourteous staff here. They read you the riot act if you are ten minutes late for the appointment, when they themselves can't honor the same standards and make people wait. Such a shame. PMU should reconsider association with them.

I went to the PMU location for my eye exam. I requested one of the workers to clean my current glasses while I was shopping. My pair came back with so many scratches on the frame and weird unclean-able stuff on the lens. I'm going to bring my pair back on Monday and then update this review.

Dr. Werkmeister is a true professional! I was there for HealthyBoiler but I ended up needing glasses, which I had been putting off for quite some time. Dr. W helped me understand my vision problems with ease. Betsy at the front was very patient and considerate as I tried on different glasses. I so appreciate & recommend them!

Pretty upset about a recent experience that was had at this clinic. Came in for a regular eye exam that is supposed to be covered by my insurance. As part of this exam they performed a retina scan. I was not given an option to decline, nor did they say that it was necessary or even covered by insurance. They just did the scan and told me that I needed to pay $44 for the scan. The doctor that I had was great and very friendly, it's the other staff there that hustles people into getting the very-much-optional retina scan.
