dont waste your money or time going here. The optometrist did not listen while changing diopters she kept Saying "no the other one is better" instead of listening to the patient. the new eyeglasses are not as good as the old ones. I went back to store and they said the new ones are better because they are one diopter higher. THIS WAS A LIE. Going up one diopter does not mean better because of other factors in the Rx, cheaper lens material, and improper manufacturing. This place gives all of walmart a bad name.

I told them I didn't want to have the puff of air or the eye drops because I have eye allergies and both things bother my eye allergies. She said then I can't have the eye exam. I can put up with all of that. The older women that's worked there a long time made some nasty comments about me as I left. None of this surprises me from West Lafayette Walmart. A lot of employees at this store are often rude to customers. Also they have a kid doing the vision pretests. He doesn't know what he's doing. He wanted to do the air puff test on me. At that point I just wanted to leave and never return.

John and Lisa have been extraordinary. I have been doing all my exams as well as all eye ware purchases only from this branch because of the staff here. Attentive, patient, kind, and years later they still call me by name which is impressive considering how many people they deal with!
On one occasion I needed an emergency repair 10 minutes before closing time. Both John and Lisa were very welcoming and kind to fix my glasses and even had a slight chat afterwards. At no point did I feel rushed considering when I had to go to them.
This is the plan for all your eye ware needs!

I came in with an issue, not related to Walmart. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with frames sold by Walmart as well as where I originally purchased them (which was not Walmart ) they were so understanding and I got the information I needed, this allowed me to purchase, from Walmart the correct frames needed for my lenses to fit properly. I received the new frames from Walmart today (I am so very sorry I forgot your name ) I went to the West Lafayette location and was greeted as I had been the first time by one of the same people she fixed me up so fast I couldn't believe it especially because one of her arms was in a slingqq

Very disappointed with eye doctor. Last several years exams have not been good, lots of trouble with contacts and glasses. A year ago, glasses were again prescribed and after 3 trips back to store, glasses were worse, couldn't read signs and street lights. Yesterday I went to Dr Scott Miller in Frankfort who found that I had a large cataract in my right eye which should have been diagnosed a year ago and one in my left eye. Instead doctor in West Lafayette prescribed glasses which were a waste of money. Thanks to Dr Miller, I will be having cataracts removed and will once again have my sight repaired. Be careful of West Lafayette Walmart Vision Center.

I broke my glasses, and bought a pair of glasses online. But when I got it, I couldn't open the screw on the new pair. The doctor Christina helped me open it, and changed lenses for me, even if the glasses were not bought from this store. That helps a lot! She is so friendly and professional! I think I should choose here to get my next pair of glasses.
