Semrow Family Vision

I went to my first eye exam here. I didn't know what to expect but Dr. Semrow and her team were happy to make me comfortable. You can also take your prescription anywhere! I will definitely be coming back.

I love going to Semrow Family Vision for all of my eyecare. Dr. Semrow is a very compassionate doctor who really cares about her patients. She goes above and beyond in her care for me. I'm diabetic and she does every test possible to make sure we know all the facts for my treatment. The staff at Semrow Family Family Vision are all professional and very pleasant to be around. I highly recommend going to Dr. Semrow.

If I could give it no stars, I absolutely would. I apparently went to the clinic back in October 20 23 and just received a bill August 20 24 with a lovely love letter attached. This is the first time that I have received this bill and was appalled by the love letter that was attached to it. I wish I could attach a picture of the letter because It's an absolute joke. The letter stated "as you know you owe our practice $79 and have disregarded our previous request for payment. Therefore your attention is important to further avoid collection procedures. Please send a payment to our office before August 31, 2024 if you have any questions Regarding this bill, please contact us. We were not subject anyone to the hassle and embarrassment of a collection agency so we would be very grateful for your payment to resolve this matter now." I have never seen a letter like this being so disrespectful. I have never gotten a bill from them. This is the first time that I have received it and my question is why am I getting a bill back from 2023? This is an absolute joke and I never go back after receiving a letter like that. You want to be respected don't go to this place. I gave them my $79 because I am done. Absolute joke.

Slow service!! Staff conducted the preliminary machine tests (e.g., air puff to eye while instrument monitors reaction) promptly, but then I was put in the exam room and waited 30 minutes (no exaggeration ... watched the time on the computer monitor) before the Dr. came in for testing. No apologies for delay. Then more waiting, although not as long, after dilation. Entire time for appt . - 1 hr, 15 minutes. I've never had to wait that long for a regular eye exam.

Absolute worst experience ever, eyes were dilated during the exam, I asked if that was safe since I had to drive home, I was told it was ok. She gave me New contacts for the drive home (I live an hour and a half away) I couldn't see road signs, everything was horribly blurry the entire way home. I assumed it was from having my eyes dilated. Tried to wear these new contacts for a couple days but everything was still terribly blurry. I called requesting a refill but with my old prescription, they took my money sent the wrong ones, made me drive an hour and half back to recheck eyes, again gave me different contacts, still couldn't see, I called back requesting my old prescription again since I can see perfect with them and they have refused, refused to give me back my money and refused to give me contacts that I know work for me. I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for eye care. Only giving one star because I can't do less.

Dr. Semrow and her staff were so helpful and kind. They are definitely the best optical clinic I've been too! They didn't make me feel like my eyes were messed up, and were very open and honest. I would definitely recommend!

I came to this office for a number of years and it was very good service, until I lost my glasses out of state and i needed my prescription. They could only provide it to me if i had a fax number. Fax????so I had to drive down the street with no glasses for a week. I will let everyone know to not go there.

Friendly staff with a clean and welcoming environment. Love Dr. Semrow. She does a wonderful job.
