The Ankeny clinic is easy to get to and has lot's of parking. The front desk admission person was very nice and efficient. My appointment was on time starting with Jack. He made you feel at ease and did the interview diagnostic work up. Dr Whitmer and his helper were also fantastic. Talked over and did testing on the eye and did a YAG procedure. Wahla I'm seeing clearly. The experience and people were professional, personable and did a fantastic job. I will ask to go back to this office for my specialized eye needs.

Dr visit was good. I had a tech who did my exam for my prescription prior. The doctor told me to follow up with the front desk for my next year diabetic eye exam. When I waited out front, the woman told me they didn't do those and I just needed to go to a local eye doctor. I am confused as I thought that is what "Wolfe Eye was for.

I would not recommend Wolfe Eye Clinic due to their poor communication and misinformation. After my initial evaluation for cataract surgery at Wolfe Eye Clinic, I ultimately cancelled the surgery. During the evaluation I shared that I would not have another person available to accompany me at the surgery center, although I could hire a car service for transportation. I was told that was okay; I could be released into my own care. When I got home and was reviewing the bloated packet of surgery day instructions, it clearly stated that a responsible adult was required to not only drop me off and pick me up, but also to be present to sit and wait while the procedure was being performed. A phone call to Wolfe verified that policy and showcased poor listening skills from the person on the other end of the phone.

I've had some complications from PKR surgery. Dr Rauen and one of his assistants Robin worked me into a busy schedule the day I called in concerned about the decline in my eye. Then on top of that they both drove in on a snowy Saturday to check on it again so that I could make a planned trip to Florida. So appreciated the time and care they put in to make sure my eye was healthy enough to travel. Highly recommend both of them!!
