Dr. Gary L. Beaver Optometrist

Today was my first visit with Dr. Beaver and his staff, and I immediately came home to review it because I was so impressed. The staff at the office was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in every way. Dr. Beaver was unlike any optometrist I've had in many years. He listened to everything I wanted to share as if he was using my information to paint a picture of my eye troubles. He then explained his thoughts on what was wrong in a way I could easily understand and made sure every test I needed was completed to ensure he had the best picture possible of my problem. He then went over the details of how he wanted to approach it with new ideas that might yield better results than I have recently experienced. I am so pleased with my visit and excited to do everything Dr. Beaver suggests to see if my vision improves over time. Absolutely best eye doctor! My husband and I both see him. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Office is immaculate! Can't say enough good about these folks!

Dr. Beaver has provided essential care for my serious eye problem with care and attention. I had a good experience picking out glasses. The front staff has always been helpful and attentive to me over the course of about 7 visits.

Maybe they're nice if they know you? My mother and I encountered staff that was indifferent-bordering-on-rude--which is strange considering that there's so much competition in town and that Beaver's prices are high. I suspect that you need to be a townie to get the five star treatment. Guess they don't realize you only get one chance to make a good first impression.

If you have medical eye issues, Dr. Beaver is the most knowledgeable in town. He was extremely helpful for my chronic dry eye and allergy issues.... a balancing act for sure between the two. Also does follow up for cataracts, etc., for Bartlesville's Dr. Grisham. Friendly, helpful staff - love cruising the shop for glasses with their input - always a fun time! Pleasant office atmosphere .

Dr. Beaver is a great Doctor, but his horrible rude office staff has caused us to switch doctors. They always act as if they are inconvenienced with us anytime we call for anything. They do not do anything in a quick like manner, its at their own pass. If you ask to speak to an office manager they refuse to give you that persons name. Its a shame that Dr. Beaver has to lose patients due to his terrible office staff, and they don't even give you an option to discuss it with anyone, I think because they know that are rude and hateful and they don't want you to tell the office manager. Also had billing issues due to them filing the claim incorrectly and it took several months to have it corrected, because they work at their own pass and are in no hurry to correct the mistake.

Never been there before but was recommended. Never go again. U have ur eyes dilated then are expected to choose a pair of glasses with zero help from staff when u specifically ask for same type u r wearing. Couldn't see anything now I'm stuck with a pair that I hate. Asked to change for a price and was told no.
