This doctor is rated highly, so I doubt anyone will see this review, and if they do, I doubt they will believe it or care. However, this was my experience stated as briefly as I can. I walked in as a new patient, not expecting them to be tripping over one another to make me feel welcome, but expecting more than what I got. Besides one person at the front desk, everyone was icy if not downright rude to me. I am hygienic, polite person, so I don't think it was me, but maybe I did something to upset them that I didn't realize. Got to the doctor at last, and I was ready to put the rest of it behind me. Nope; the doctor was rude too, short and impatient. On a return trip (see next paragraph), I asked if my general eye health was good because she didn't specifically say the first time. She got super defensive, and said something to the effect of, "I don't know why I wouldn't have told you the first time," in a rude tone. I said, I'm sorry, maybe I forgot, but she was short and huffy the rest of the visit. I had to return three times to get contacts that fit my eye. Even then, I had to use an old prescription because the doctor could not get them to fit right. At one point I told her they still didn't fit right, and she said, and I quote, "I don't know what to tell you." I wanted to, but didn't say, if only there was an optometrist here that could help. Almost everyone else seems to love it there, so I guess you can take what I've said with a grain of salt. For me, once I got passable contacts, I decided to never go back. Frankly, I wish I had not even waited that long. I wouldn't recommend her, but maybe you'll have better results.

I stopped by Krannawitter Eye Care to have a miner repair done on my husband's glasses. I previously worked in Optometry for 20 years and I can instantly tell the "great" offices from "mediocre " ones. This office is great! The staff is welcoming, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Being new to the area, I've been looking for an eye doctor and optical office and today I found one. Thank you Anna for your help today. I will be scheduling an eye exam and will see you soon.

Dr. Krannawitter is phenomenal! Not only was she able to squeeze us in for an appointment during an eye emergency but she went above and beyond to make sure our son's eye was taken care of. Highly recommend this business. Professional and knowledgeable.

My family has been going to Dr. Lea Krannawitter for 20+ years and we absolutely love her and her staff. They have always made themselves available quickly if we had eye problems and their customer service is outstanding. Their office is inviting and the selection of eyeware is great. Excellent customer service! Over the years I've been to a number of optometrist and at best I felt like a revenue stream not a customer. At Krannawitter I feel like a valued customer, and their frame prices are actually reasonable. My first visit was to ask if they could repair a set of glasses purchased elsewhere, and they did without question. Every exam and frame purchase has been a great experience. And recently they were able to get me in the next day for a quick exam of blood in my eye. It ended up simply being a ruptured blood vessel but I wanted to confirm it wasn't more serious and it was okay for me to fly for an upcoming trip. I'm very happy to have found a quality optometrist with an attentive and professional office staff.

I've always had a good experience with the office. Dr. Krannawitter patiently answers questions and explains things well. Her staff is equally excellent and competent, and they have been there for a while, so they know what they are doing, particularly about my insurance. Never had a problem with appointments - they are usually ready for me as soon as I get there. Finally, my experience with them is that they focus on helping, not selling. 5 stars.

Had a great first experience with the entire staff at Krannawitter Eye Care this week. They really took the extra steps to make me feel comfortable and welcome - It felt like they had known me forever! They were incredibly kind and helpful with my glasses choices and I never felt like they were trying to "up-sell" me things I didn't need (which has been my experience at other eye care centers). My family and I look forward to building a long-term relationship with Dr. Krannawitter and her staff!
