My Eye Care Olathe

Both Doctors are excellent and patient with my many questions. 2 out of my 3 kids wear glasses as well as I do. Both Dr. Tuan Bui and his brother Dr. Tu Bui are very caring, engaged and knowledgeable. My husband doesn't even wear glasses and when he takes my daughter to see Dr. Tuan Bui he likes how he speaks to both of them and talks about normal every day stuff and it really and makes it a very welcoming experience, my daughter is never nervous to see the eye doctor even for the eye blow test. Dr. Tu Bui has such a great rapport with my 13-year-old, for today's appointment he didn't even complain going to his eye appointment on a Saturday. Never make me feel rushed or transactional, they want to explain why they test something and why we don't really need to do certain tests. The visit is quick and you're not sitting in the waiting room more than 5 minutes ever. The front desk assistants are very nice and greet you with a genuine hello, they explain the paperwork to sign, normal protocols I'm sure anywhere else but it doesn't feel transactional. We have been to several optometrists over the years and they are the most thorough and professional that I've seen. I have gone 3 years straight. It's a convenient location off 119th in Olathe. It's very clean and organized. Whenever I have made an appointment, we never wait more than 5 minutes, they actually see you for your scheduled time. I don't normally take the time to post a review but my experience here was worth taking the time to write this. The doctors get to know you, explain to you what they're doing and why, and work with you on vision/eye treatment plans, or if we even need a plan at all. I don't personally know the doctors. this is just a 100% honest review. I hope this gets to them to let them know what a great job they do!

I have seen both doctors for years. They are very personable, knowledgeable, and caring. They are very thorough and make sure they have answered all of my questions. They don't rush you out the door. Their technicians are very friendly and helpful. I have recommended them to friends and family for years.

Absolutely loved the service, from the moment you walk in Loren was so helpful and kind such a welcoming energy. They were able to get me in the same day as a new patient and was able to get my contact lens and glasses prescription so quick Dr. Tu Bui was amazing. I will definitely be coming back to this office in the future and will recommend to family and friends

I have been going to this doctor for a couple of years now. I usually don't write reviews. And most reviews you hear are bad. This is an amazing team courteous, professional and friendly. On my last visit recently I did wait and extended period of time due to unforeseen circumstances in the office that morning. I do understand that emergencies happen. The situation itself was handled great The front office staff kept in good communication with me while the doctor was seeing other patients. I did have to move an appointment due to the lateness, but why get frustrated and raise my blood pressure for no reason. Not only is the front office staff great, but both doctors are amazing when it comes to the exam and education on overall eye health. Who knew that there can be changes in the eyes due to certain conditions So the moral of the story is you can see a lot in someone's eyes. If you're looking for a new doctor this is definitely the place to go.

Dr. Tuan Bui has been my optometrist for the past five years, and I am super glad I met him! He has an excellent bedside manner and is very patient! The front desk receptionists are friendly and efficient as well. I highly recommend My Eye Care, and I cannot imagine going anywhere else <3

Each member of our family has been a patient at My Eye Care for several years. We have always been treated with respect and have been made to feel that our concerns are important. The Doctors Bui are very thorough and caring, and the office and staff are super friendly. I couldn't give a higher recommendation!

I felt very at ease and welcomed by receptionists. Dr Bui was the most honest opthalmologist Dr I've come across in years. He was very up front with my eye diagnosis and gave me printed copies explaining what each diagnosis was and preventative measures to slow down progression. He didn't sugar coat anything. I really appreciated his honesty and knowledge. I know he truly cares about his patients. He answered all of my questions in detail and we made a plan to help delay the progression of my eye disease. I would recommend him to everyone who wants a Dr that really cares about his patients and give accurate diagnosis' and does not beat around the bush making it look better than it really is. Dr. Tuan provided exceptional care! I had severe eye pain and needed to walk-in same day. I wasn't a patient of his, but was seen quickly and diagnosed with a large corneal abrasion. He placed a bandage contact lens which soothed the pain, and sent me with a script and follow-up appointment for the next day. All of this great care was provided in a span of 30 minutes, just before closing time. Could not have asked for a better experience and he saved me from an urgent care visit!
