Dr's Hawks, Besler, Rogers and Stoppel Optometrists

Everything about this appointment was great. I needed an appointment for myself and for my mom. The front desk staff made it easy to coordinate our appointments. Everyone was so friendly and helpful from start to finish. My mom has had many eye appointments and she said this was the most thorough one she's ever had and she was very satisfied with the explanation she received regarding her vision issues. Absolutely recommend this practice. We saw Dr. Hildebrand and Dr. Besler. Both were excellent!

I have been going to this eye doctor for seven years. The eye doctor himself, I have never had an issue with. It's the office staff, specifically in the optometry/glasses part, that have been getting progressively worse over the last few years. When I started going there, they freely gave out bottles of eye glass cleaner to patients and said that you could bring back the bottles for refill or they could give you one or two when you ran out. During the pandemic, they started offering to refill other bottles because theirs were at such a shortage. That policy apparently has stopped, which is fine, but the attitude about it is not. It is something that all of the glasses techs present confirmed to be a policy change and were not taken surprise by the asking. Just rude about it. It also wasn't necessary to "add to my patient file" that I was going to buy more of the fluid in the bottles that they provide (~10oz/$2). What are they going to do? Send me a bill in the mail for $4 worth of lens cleaner? Ridiculous.

Very professional staff! I never have to wait for my appointment to begin. I had to use their services for an emergency on a Saturday when my granddaughter accidentally scratched my eye. The doctor got to the office right away and put a contact over the scratch and I was able to go on with my daily activities. I highly recommend this business!

I highly recommend Dr Hildebrand and his office/staff in Overland Park and Gardner! He has been professional, kind and patient with me through some recent changes in my vision. After seeing 2 other optometrists, since my previous one retired, I have finally found a Dr & office I love! They communicate well and take great care of of me from start to finish! If you've been searching for a great optometrist, search no more!! Call them for an awesome experience and great patient care!

I have been seing Dr. Rogers since I was just a kindergartner. For over 20 years, I've always had an incredible experience here and would highly recommend the practice! Every member of the staff is a joy to work with.

Dr. Hildebrand is great. He gave me a very thorough exam, took a genuine interest in my eye health and took the time to answer all my questions. He was on time and I never felt rushed. I trust his judgment and am secure knowing he is on top of my eye care.

He is a fabulous listener! Dr.Hildebrand comes up with solutions and different ways of arriving at the solutions to fit the patient's needs and personality. It's a partnership ....I've never had such a wonderful doctor experience ! Creative and very smart on his part.. yeah! Penny Dillon

I appreciate the care provided by the team for when I had an eye issue. They took the time to get me seen and the help I needed to heal the issue. They are a very caring staff who listens to their patients.
