Wait was a little longer than expected but once I was called to the exam room, Pam's excellent bedside manner more than made up for my wait. She was engaging and made me feel important. We even discussed grocery shopping! And when Dr. Cline came in, I felt she was thorough and she had reviewed my patient history before my examination. I came here because I had a really serious eye concern. I went in with a lot of anxiety and left feeling much better. The woman who took us back and did my medical history (I think her name was Melanie) was unbelievably kind and caring and made me instantly feel at ease. I've had really bad experiences with eye care places and she was so incredibly nice and thorough and just acted with so much empathy and kindness. Dr. Erker was also extremely nice and made me feel better about the situation and answered all of my questions. It's unfortunately really rare to find a place with such good service from medical professionals where it actually feels genuine and like they care about you. So grateful for Melanie and the doctors kindness and thoroughness!!

The staff are great and very friendly. Dr. Cline is very caring and knowledgeable. I'm a new patient and will definitely be calling her my eye doctor moving forward for all my eye needs. I highly recommend her and her staff.

Steffanie Erker took my appointment. I have severe nerve damage from running a machine. It's actually very bad and I told her about this in the beginning. I had an eye infection and a sty on my eye. She gave me drops and pills. The first two days I was seeing ready great. But the next 8days on those pills have completely changed my life. I can't go in my kitchen without sun glasses on. I can't watch TV. Look at my phone or be outside without excruciating pain behind my eyes. I return for an appointment to tell her everything and she made me feel very stupid of the fact that I thought the pills were messing with my nerve damage. She told me to cancel the appointment I already made to have the sty cut out! She told me to soak my sty three times a day and told me my concussion is the problem even though I had that years ago. I was furious when she sent me away feeling stupid then has her receptionist call me the next week asking me to go see another additional doctor. Telling me I need "proper care" only thing she would tell me. I immediately go to a doctor in Olathe because they always seemed to care more I just thought I had gone far enough into ks but I hadn't. My new doctor with also great reviews told me I'm not stupid I'm right. My severe nerve damage was triggered with the pills she gave me and turns out I have this issue now I can't fix because those pills were very strong and there has to be another alternative. Also turns out there is a proper way to soak an eye. Even every 3-4 hours. I want to speak up for myself because you literally ruined me and just maybe if there is another person with full body severe nerve damage you might care because I do!!

The 2 stars I am giving are for Dr Edwards only, I would give her 10 stars. Some of the staff at the Overland Park Office are not professional or caring for the patients. They are rude and treat us like the automated collection letters their office sends out. The staff are always in a rush and constantly interrupt. They don't communicate well either. The last visit I had I was made to feel inferior because I hadn't made a payment. :(

From start to finish the whole experience was great! The staff was very friendly and knowledgable. Both Angela and Dr. Williams helped with addressing my contact concerns.

My experience at Heart of America Eyecare was 5-star. My optometrist took the extra time to understand my vision issues and prescribe the best contacts for my situation. The staff is responsive, always nice and very helpful. I would highly recommend this location for your vision needs.

Dr. Brenda Edwards is the best and she has a wonderful support team. My annual eye exam is always very thorough and never rushed. I highly recommend them.
