The whole staff are kind and helpful. Schedule is maintained and thorough. Dr. Kimberly Swan is calm, kind, and most importantly explains everything; gives options; explains options; recommends which option she feels will work best. All the other doctors on the staff I have had occasion to see have been the same. I always feel confident after a visit.

They were recommended by a family member. Made an appointment, walked in the front door and a tech almost immediately took me to the back for preliminary testing. Was taken to an exam room and the Doctor came in almost immediately. She did the examination, answered my questions, and explained my testing results. On the positive side my eyesight was stable, I needed no corrective adjustments, and no one tried to upsell me with new lenses and frames. Great experience. I'll be back for my next examination!

I'm just gonna explain what happened here and if you are looking at reviews I hope this helps you to go elsewhere. These people were great from the time I made contact; referred by my former optometrist whom they had recently purchased his business due to retirement. They are very expressive of, "looking forward to seeing you at your appointment" with every call, message, etc. they were prompt in the service and the eye exam and to be honest, initially I was happy to find what I thought to be a reputable business. The eye exam was conducted by Kimberly Swan. From the moment she walked in she started kind of pushing contacts. I've never really had much luck in my 50 years with contacts but she kept pushing. She did the eye exam extremely fast, seemingly efficient and continued pushing for contacts. So much so that at one point I asked her frankly, "do you get some kind of kick-back or incentive for selling contacts?" She simply diverted and said "no, I just want to do what is best for my patients" I explained that I was in sales for most of my life and her behavior seemed like she was being incentivized. She denied this and we concluded the exam. She asked me of if I wanted to try some contacts. I said, "sure, why not" after putting them in that was the end of my interaction with her and she delivered me to a wonderful attendant to discuss my insurance and see what my options for prescription glasses would be. I wanted to wait and come in with my wife to look at glasses because, well, she's the one that had to look at me. lol. As I was getting ready to leave, the attendant who's name I can't quite remember said my exam is covered by insurance however there would be a fee of $60 for the "contact lense exam." I was immediately furious. I could not believe that this "Dr." straight up lied to me, to my face when I asked her directly. I got my things, asked for a receipt and told them to never call me again. It's a real shame. You just cannot trust anyone anymore. For $60. Good grief!

Today my daughter went for an eye exam and was threatened by the front office gal that if she didn't give her medical insurance information they would charge full price and not bill our vision insurance. When my daughter tried to give a copy of her vision insurance they wouldn't take it. They are in network with our vision insurance. There is some insurance fraud going on at this place. Be careful!

Appointments are quick, Dr is attentive and knowledgeable. Love that they have technology that doesn't require dilation. Appreciate talking to humans when we call for appointments rather than the automated systems at our former eye doctor. Only down side is that the optical shop is super pricey- not a lot of affordable options so we have to go elsewhere for glasses.

Everyone at Hunter Vision has always done their best to help and solve any problem I may have with contacts or glasses. Always friendly and patient. A rare place that still puts patients/customers first.

I had an excellent experience this week as a new patient with Dr Herst. He took all the time necessary to study my past record and fully understand and address the several eye issues that I have. I could not be more impressed and know that I am in good hands under his care.

When you first walk in the actual office it is beautiful. Very new and clean. I was warmly greeted and then called back by the technician who was very friendly and efficient. I only had to wait 5 minutes after the initial tests to see Dr. Lisa. She was very knowledgeable and explained things clearly to me. The conclusion was I needed glasses so I was sent on to the third person, the glasses technician. She was very helpful in choosing my glasses out of the 100's of pairs to choose from. What a fantastic experience.
