I just have to say what a great experience I have had in my two visits leading up to my eye surgery soon. Dr. Unterman is tremendous and I am so glad I followed Dr. Troyer to this practice! Have to give every staff member from Kim and Teresa, and everyone that worked w me high praise! Oh, I can't forget Angela the 'Energizer Bunny' who worked w me prior to seeing Dr. Unterman! Angela you were a joy to interact with and appreciated your efficiency and professionalism! This practice deserves 5 stars and they are getting every one of them! Keep up the great work Mid-America Eye Center! CWO.

I've been a steady patient since my kerotoconus diagnosis in 1994. My only complaints are the inevitable change only because I got to know the staff over time. When Myoshi, Cindy and Robin left, I was disappointed as I really liked them and they were part of my journey. Now with Manion gone and Unterman retiring, Beverly is the ONLY original staff member left. At my last appointment, I told Beverly she couldn't retire .

I've been coming here 4 over 25 yrs. I have nothing but great service. They did cataract surgery yrs ago & my eyes r still doing good. I buy my glasses here & that has worked out perfect. 4 me it is a great place with great dr & staff. I'll miss u dr untermann.

I have seen Dr. Unterman since 1989. He is an outstanding surgeon and practitioner, with knowledge in eye conditions. He has lectured to our local Sjogrens group and helped us. This was my first.visit with Dr.Troyer. He is friendly and knew about Sjogrens and dry eye. The staff has been great since I started with this office. Many of the staff have been there for several years. I thank everyone for their care and help.

Bullshit, they write scripts that expire way too soon. Why should I pay absurd prices for exams and nonsense when my prescriptions work fine? I don't need a new prescription every 2 years I just don't and even if I do I can't afford it. So they have denied my refill on my contacts, and essentially said, 'you'll have to pay us or go somewhere cheaper.' It's a racket. So I will continue to live and go to work in my broken frames, which gives me headaches, causes constant frustration which affects my mental health, and affects my self esteem. I can ONLY afford lenses I cannot afford a stamp of approval to buy myself lenses every couple of years. Thanks for nothing AT ALL

Excellent doctors Exceptional staff provide wonderful service with each and every visit. Recent doctor change has been a plus! The previous O.D. was good but not as great a listener. I need to feel heard. I've been a patient for 36 yrs minus 5 yrs I was out of state. I owe my vision to this office! At age 27 they discovered a birth defect that affected my vision my whole life. I am a bilateral corneal transplant receipient. For many years it was never uncovered that my glasses weren't ever the right strength. Long story.... Mid America Eye Ctr is my life choice! Professional and attentive staff. I was treated very well and any questions I had were answered immediately about my eyes and impending Cataract Surgery. I found Dr. Untermann to be extremely thorough. His confidence as a Physician and Surgeon was calming. I had no reservations in allowing him to perform my Cataract Surgery. If you're apprehensive about Cataract Surgery for example, the OR nursing staff will allay any and all fears you have before, during and after surgery. Vision is a sense I took for granted. Now and in the future Mid-America Eye Center will be the only place I trust my eyes to.
