Dr Weiser is very kind and knowledgeable. She interacted well with my children and was patient as she evaluated their eye condition. We have been there twice already. We greatly appreciate her care.

Dr. Weiser is incredible. My child is so extremely comfortable with her. Nothing but the best to report from our 2 years with her.

My experience with Kenneth Goins at KU Eye Clinic went something like this. I had a mass removed several years ago in my eye and recently my insurance has changed so I had to come to Dr Goins to continue care. On the first visit he did nothing cuz he didn't have my charts which is understandable but I was impressed with him then. He assured me then, not a lot of doctors would take this case on after hearing what I had going on. Second visit I have my granddaughters with me, he had my charts, he saw the diagnosis of the the mass they removed and it was squamous cell carcinoma. He wanted my contact out which is a sclera lens. Needs to be taken out with a special tool, he comes at me with a sclera lens applicator I think and I'm about to learn something new here. Now they've already deadend my eye three times within this one meeting, and three times at least, he keeps pressing on my eye and drawing back an empty applicator like the outcome's going to change. And then he scoots his little chair back, roots around in his drawer and comes up with some metal tweezers, (not the ones that have plastic on the end that you use for soft contact lenses but real tweezers) and makes a show of cleaning them off with the alcohol wipe and proceeds to take my contact lens out with them! He looked at my eyes some more talked with his little guy that was behind him, who, by the way, could have gone and gotten the proper tool to remove my contact lens. We were literally less than 3 ft from the nurses station. He tapped around on my face some more and then told me that this kind of cancer can kill me right in front of my granddaughters. He got out his personal phone and took several pictures of my eye. He mumbled something about my other doctors being incorrect with a diagnosis but they were good, they were good, he said. Then he said: This can be one of three things, the cancer's back, you need a stem cell transplant, or something else but I'll see you in 3 months. That was my experience. Now we'll start on trying to get my records back from them. Month and a half ago I asked them for my records followed up, they didn't have them. Went in signed a paper, they still don't have them they won't give me my medical records back.! A nice lady named Becky just called, so this it's not about Becky she just got unlucky and answered the phone today. Don't know if I mentioned it but my appointment is tomorrow at 10:00 and this is all my fault because the treatment I got at the front desk the second time I had to go in was so weird like nobody had ever asked for their records before. They had to find a paper printed off. I should have followed up. So what I am trying to say is that you should go to Kansas City Eye Clinic instead. They were in my original doctor that I had to leave because of insurance and they are wonderful. Locations on Antioch and in Leawood and most likely other locations. I called them up this morning and she said she would start printing my chart immediately. Doctors Ketcherside and Eck are the best.
