Dr. Aaron was excellent! His staff was thorough and professional with the pre exam, making the exam flawless. He was attentive to my questions and told me about options in plain English, not Doctor speak. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I have been seeing Dr. Florkowski at this SharperVision for years. The office staff is always organized, professional and friendly. I have never had to wait past my appointment time. Dr Florkowski is professional, caring and prompt.

We highly recommend Dr. Florkowski, his office and surgery team. My husband's right eye cataract surgery went perfectly. We were in and out of the surgery center in an hour. He was able to see 20/20 the very next day and no longer had double vision in his right eye. He was so happy with the results that he immediately scheduled the left eye cataract surgery.

We recently moved here from out of state and I needed a new ophthalmologist. My husband recently had cataract surgery by Dr.Florkowski. I was so impressed with his skill that I booked my own initial consult appointment. The practice is efficient, friendly and professional from the moment you walk through the door. It was easy to find an appointment time to fit my schedule. The intake eye exam was completed by the staff as they prepared me and my chart for my time with Dr. Florkowski. His exam was the most thorough I've had and he answered every question I had. He was clear in explanations. I'm glad to entrust my eye care to this practice.

Dr. Florkowski did my LASIK surgery three months ago, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The doctor and his staff provided very thorough information on the LASIK process and offered plenty of opportunities to ask questions, both at the pre-op consultation and the day of surgery. The receptionist and billing contact went above and beyond to ensure that my insurance discount was applied. The staff at the surgery center were so kind, and I could tell they really care about their patients. Dr. Florkowski made the procedure as easy and painless as possible, and described what he was doing as it happened. Numbing drops and a mild sedative are given before surgery, so I felt no pain, just slight pressure. I did experience pain for a few hours after surgery, but this is to be expected, and it was 100% worth it. Pricing is reasonable and payment plans are available via Care Credit. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you, Dr. Florkowski, for giving me the privilege of never wearing glasses again!

The staff at Sharper Vision were wonderful! The front desk was polite and quick. Dr. Florkowski and his assistant were pleasant to work with. They were very patient with my 7 year old during a routine eye exam and addressed all of our concerns efficiently. I highly recommend. Thanks so much for the great care!

Very bad experience overall and we will never be back. I'm surprised at all the good reviews out there. Our family started going there as it was a convenient location. Two of the eyeglass prescriptions we got were inaccurate - didn't find out until we had already spent the money on glasses and started having major issues. Went to another eye doctor and found the problem. We also had a major billing issue with them. I called to escalate the matter to Dr Aaron Florkowski and was told by his front desk staff that he was very busy and did not have time to return phone calls to patients. I was appalled. But, am so thankful we didn't have a serious issue like complications from surgery where we needed a call back. To provide objective reviews, I always try to say something positive if possible. We did find his office to be clean and fairly new.

My total experience at Shawnee Mission Surgical Center was very positive. From admission to dismissal I was made very comfortable and treated with the utmost care. I appreciated speaking with the anesthesiologist and Dr. Florkowski before surgery. Was very glad that my husband was able to be with me before and after surgery. The Surgery Center was easy to find, immaculately clean. The warm blankets and making sure I was comfortable made is easier to have surgery. I want to thank the center for the flowers given to me upon dismissal and the RN that contacted me the day after to follow up on how I was feeling. My follow up visit with Dr. Florkowski went well. And am anticipating better vision as my healing process continues.
