The entire office staff was amazing! I scheduled an appointment for myself, my husband, and my 8 year old daughter. Unknown to us, my husbands eyes were sunburn. The eye doctor was very informative, patient, and kind. He answered all our questions. The entire staff is very good with kids! I am looking forward to picking up my new glasses in a few days. Overall, I am so glad I made our eye appointments yesterday with the Eye Center of Shawnee. I would definitely return for my annual visit or any eye care needs my family may have. I would recommend Eye Center of Shawnee to anyone that needs contacts, eye glasses, or a vision check.

The lady that checks you in is very patient and personable. Did not expect her to help me pick out my glasses, but she encouraged me to try some on and helped me pick a pair. Definitely appreciated. I've seen at least 2 of the doctors. One of them gave my daughter her eye exam before. The doctors are very kind and patient as well. Good at offering the right amount of information. This is definitely a hidden gem. They have a lot of options for glasses for medicaid patients which is a huge plus.

From the initial phone call, the office manager was super sweet, thorough and efficient. When we got there the doctor was very knowledgeable and helpful. The office manager finished off by helping my mom pick a frame and was very knowledgeable about the specific type of frame she would need because her situation is unique. Kim was very caring and kind the entire time. My mom has Kancare so it very hard to find offices that actually care. I rarely write reviews, but with such a great experience I had to. Thanks again!!!

From the moment I walked in, I felt like I knew the staff forever. They were so friendly. The assistant that helped me with the pre-doctor visit, Hannah, was very knowledgeable about the machines she was operating. She explained all the steps in the process she was doing and why. The Dr. was very informative yet letting me make the decision of what was needed to help me see clearly. Trying on new glasses was absolutely a riot because they were picking which ones they thought would look good on my head. After 12-15 pairs of glasses, we figured out which ones looked the best and I was on my way. These guys are the real deal.

I really enjoyed this practice. The technician who assisted me before visiting the doctor was friendly and helpful. Dr. Fose was energetic, fun, and knowledgeable. I loved that she took the time to explain to me how my vision had progressed, what kind of lens choices would be most helpful to ask about, and even gave me some advice about my allergies! To pay that little out of pocket and get a great experience was pleasantly unexpected. Thanks for everything you do for your patients!

Dr. Eck is the best eye doctor I've ever seen. Super nice, easy going, and easy to talk to. He works with me every time I have an issue with my contacts (my eyes are sensitive to certain ones). Absolutely the best experience I've ever had with an eye exam. The opthalmologist was professional, kind and explained what he found on the exam and all my options. The woman who filled my prescription was wonderfully informative and fun! She helped me pick my frames and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend to everyone and will l will be using these folks for all my optical needs!
