I completely lost the vision in my right eye on July 9th, 2024 & Dr. Eric Beatty has taking the best care of my precious eyes for more than 5 years now. Eric is more than a doctor, he is a Trusted Friend! He rushed me right in on a busy day, got me an immediate appointment with retinal specialist (which probably saved my eye sight) & after surgery when I was having issues with my peripheral vision & depth perception. Dr. Beatty got me right in to see his most trusted specialist, Dr. Florkowski to have a lense implant done to correct my vision. Now Connor, in the Optics Shop at Westglen Eyecare is "a Top Notch Profesdional" too, I just picked up my new glasses today & it is such a relief to be able to see clearly again. Take it from me, I guy who couldn't see 8 months ago, to seeing everything again, is nothing short of Amazing! Thanks Eric & Staff for your "Expert Care" all of you are AWESOME....

When I went in for my annual eye exam, I inquired about trying contacts. The doctor offered me samples and arranged for someone to show me how to use them. When I went to check out, I was informed it would be $60 for a 'contact consult.' No one had mentioned there would be an additional fee. When I brought this up at the front desk, the lady told me the consult was $90, and that my insurance had covered $30, but that was the extent of the explanation/conversation. I would have appreciated being told about this beforehand since I would have opted-out out of the whole thing.

I have only been to Westglen two times and the first experience was so good that I wanted to go back. My dentist was trying to encourage me to switch places but I really wanted to go back to Westglen. Here are my reasons why. The entire staff was polite, courteous and quick. The assistance with selecting my frames was also great. I was overwhelmed with the selections and took me forever to decide but my assistant stayed patient the entire time.
The people in this office love their jobs and take care of their clients. You get premiere customer service and now days, that is worth a million bucks!

I went into Westglen for my annual eye appointment (which I scheduled through text messages, which was so easy) and had excellent customer service and care from everyone I encountered. Megan was the technician and ran me through several tests prior to the visit with Eric Beatty, OD. She was polite and friendly and very efficient. Dr. Beatty was able to correct my near vision with contact lenses so now I don't have to rely on reading classes for ALL near work, which has been a huge improvement in my life! Ivy the receptionist helped me pay my bill and gave me copies of receipts quickly and easily when I requested these. I have been going here the past several years and have always had exceptional care!

I've been going to WestGlen for well over a decade. LOVE the staff and the doctors! Their selection of frames is among the most unique in Kansas City. They don't have 300 mass-produced one kind/style frames like some other so-called discount stores. I know the frame I pick out will not be worn by 100s of others! The compliments I receive on my glasses are a testament to that fact. And during Covid, they are taking so many precautions to keep everyone safe. I appreciate all that WestGlen Eyecare represents!

Dr. Beatty and the staff at Westglen Eyecare were great! They took the time to really talk to me and explain everything. The option to be able to have a 3D image of my eye taken instead of having my pupils dilated was terrific--so glad I did that. The woman who helped me with my glasses was great (sorry, I don't remember her name). She took the time to explain how progressives work, and she gave me a break down of options and costs with absolutely no pressure on what or when to buy. Overall, I would highly recommend Westglen Eyecare to my family and friends.

This staff is amazing, every single one of them. They are all super friendly, caring and take time to know their clients and their clients needs. Recently I ordered sunglasses for the first time, thought I didn't need to get them as bi-focals, and i was very wrong. The team worked with me to get the lenses updated and in record time so I could have them before I left on my vacation, to go hiking. So happy to have cool shades and be able to see!!
