Wineinger Eyecare

This optometrist is a quack! He told me my son no longer needed glasses and his lazy eye was under control. We noticed the drift of his eye getting worse and worse and finally took him to a children's ophthalmologist who told us his vision had severely degraded and he likely would ALWAYS need glasses! The optometrist also told us our other son didn't need glasses. We finally had to take him to a different person because his elementary school sent a note home informing us he had failed their vision testing. Again, an opthamologist told us this guy was nuts and our child definitely needed glasses! Be warned. You are better off sending your kids to a veterinarian than this guy!!!

my husband and i have been coming here for years. The doctors and staff are very nice. Five Stars for that. Today my husband's new glasses broke when he dropped them, both lenses popping out. We looked on your website to see that you were open on Fridays. When he got there, however, the front door (as well as your voice mail) said you close at 12 on fridays. This is a huge confusing convenience to people who rely on your website info. Please correct this problem.

I took my glasses in for repair - hoping I wouldn't have to leave them. Leslie(sp) had them for less than 30 min and brought them back out to me! "Thankful" is an understatement . Much appreciated, Leslie!!

My daughter and I have been patients here for over 2 years now. This week I've called twice to try to set up our yearly eye exams. I was put on hold both times and waited over 10 minutes before I gave up. Apparently they have plenty of patients and won't miss us. We had good experiences at our previous appointments, so this is super frustrating.

Rude receptionists. Especially the one with short hair. The doctors are okay. They're overworked and the customers are just another customer. There's no personal experience. This is my last visit to Wineenger Eyecare. I recommend going to Eye Associates. Eye associates actually take care of their customers.

I felt very rushed in my appointment. I marked on my paperwork I wanted to talk about eye surgery, never spoke about it during the appointment. Doc Never made any attempt to get to know me or build a patient/Doctor relationship. Receptionists were slightly rude and you could hear them negatively talking about other clients after a phone call was over. I see that many people rate this office as top notch, so I will give it another try on my follow up.

I had a 2pm appt and Wineinger Eyecare didn't open back up after lunch until 2pm. I had gotten there about 10 min early and just waited in my car and then I saw one of their employees unlock the doors and I got right in, didn't have to sit down and wait but was taken right in for eye test. The entire process was easy and they seemed like they really cared about taking care of my eyes. The rep helped me to choose glasses without being pushy and I got them ordered. Good customer service with a smile!

Heard positive things about this place so decided to give it a try. They did this squiggly line test that said it would help with some focal point but I don't even think it really effected my glasses. They have a good selection of glasses but they're extremely expensive. The amount my insurance covered barely put a dent in the frame cost itself. Definitely wasn't expecting to pay what I paid. I did call to ask for an itemized receipt to compare with my EOB but never got it. It's been about a month now. Had to get my glasses tightened and they did, but after saying it still rubs against my eyelashes, all they said was it was my frames because they're plastic. Went to a different optical store to have them tilt the glasses a bit and they did. Now I have less eyelash rubbing against the lens. Not sure why they didn't offer me this solution...
