I dont like leaving bad reviews but I agree with these bad reviews . I should have left this review a long time ago ..the doctor said my daughter was in the stage of glaucoma and needed special eye drops the insurance didn't cover and 4 routine visits a year which was 400 dollars. I paid this and my daughter left to another country. I called to ask for my money back since she wouldn't be here for the whole year receptionist said it was at the doctor's discretion. They tried to lie and say the time I first went was the first visit and it wasnt the insurance paid for that one. I could tell I wasnt going to get my money back they kept trying to go around it. I even went out there. End of story he finally agreed he'd give me 50 dollars back. Horrible place ill never go back. Greedy and dirty.

I called to try to reschedule an appointment and they answered but kept telling me to hold on, four times in a row. So I just hung up. I know there busy but after I was on hold for about 30 minutes and they kept answering just to say hold on. 4 times in that 30 minute period, is just unacceptable in my opinion.

Never will I step foot in that office again. While the lady's at the front desk are kind and very friendly. That's where it stops. Doctors don't show up on time and run you through like cattle.

Believe the comments when you read them. I used to come here as I used to see another Doctor in the other half of building... long story short they moved their practice and I just started using KY eye institute. Receptionist are terribly rude and speak negatively of other patients. The Doctor also sucks. He was always so rushed and rude. It seemed as though he did not want to even be there. Anyways, I called to report the misconduct of the receptionists and was told I was lying. Needless to say I never went back. This was a while ago. Just wanted to share my experience.

The staff who deal with fitting/ordering glasses and contacts are NEVER in office. There is always an excuse as to why they aren't there. So when they aren't there (90% of time) it becomes your problem when you can't pick up your glasses/contacts etc. The receptionist are too sorry to get up and get them for you so you have to guess when the glasses people will actually be at work to give them to you. We are self pay so we pay these people a fortune and have to jump through hoops just to get our product and find someone who is there to do their job. We've been patients here for 4 years but we are sick of dealing with this joke of an establishment. Also receptionist are extremely rude and careless. Needless to say, we have found a new eye doctor.

While the front area staff is friendly and great, I felt that my exam was rushed. I'm not used to a tech performing an exam and not the actual doctor. It's fine I guess but she seemed like this was the last place she wanted to be and the patients are suffering the consequences. I felt uncomfortable with the rx I was given so I asked for a second appointment. The lenses on the Phoropter needed to be cleaned both times I went. This was the first time I went here and I won't be back, unfortunately.
