Walmart Vision & Glasses

Today the white part of my eye swelled up for some reason super fast, couldn't close my eye hardly. I called every optometrist in town, either closed, no answer or no availability. I called here as a last resort (forgot Walmart had a vision part honestly) Dr.G told me to rush there as fast as possible and saw me immediately. Like I walked in, put my ID on the counter and he brought me back to see what was going on. I cannot thank him and the staff enough for what they did as quickly as they did. Called him driving through Winchester, and was seen and out of there within 30 minutes of originally calling him. If I ever need to see another optometrist for any reason this will be the place I go to. No questions asked, the urgency, and professionalism of Dr.G was outstanding. Thank you so much team!

Best precise eye exam I have ever had by Vision Thru Design Dr.Wallace B.Guerrant,OD His office is located next to the Vision center. I can see like a Eagle now. And the Walmart Vision center is Top Notch. The experts Barbara and Jackie are so Professional and efficient making the Walmart MT Sterling Vision center the best in North America. Dr Wallace Guerrant is very rude , not at professional, needless to say I will never darken that door if he is the optometrist!! The receptionist was very nice . If you have a choice to go somewhere else I would do so , he is not in my opinion someone that needs to work with the public ! Just to be clear I am talking about the office , not eye glasses shop , the ladies there are wonderful, Jackie is awesome !

I am not from here. I went for an eye exam and glasses. The ladies who work there are awesome but the Dr is a joke. I told him all the way through the exam the letters were still blurry. He kept saying we are not done yet. The last time he asked me if it was blurry I told him it was better but still blurry he wrote that prescription and I got my glasses back and i couldn't see. It's 1 1/2 hours round trip half tank of gas each time at 4 trips it will take me to get the right glasses is 120.00 of gas and 6 hours of driving not being able to see. I will have to pay an Uber to go back as my husband drove me there the first time because road signs are a blur. Not to mention the other inconveniences it has caused me. My reading glasses I got at the dollar tree are less stressful on my eyes than this 250.00 pair of glasses I got from him. The prescription glasses made me dizzy I got nauseated and had a migraine for the whole day after wearing them only 15 min. I tried to tell him my eyes are extra sensitive to things and he said. The eyes are a sensitive spot on the body. That's not what I meant. There are days I can't even go outside and open my eyes with sunglasses on. This Dr does NOT listen to his patients. He is arrogant enough to think he knows it all and that he knows your eyes better than you. If only dealing with the ladies i would give 5 stars but because of this Dr I give 1 star. Don't waste your time. Will cost more money and heart ache in the end to see this Dr. I have no choice but to go back to this Dr because it was already filed on my insurance unless I want to come out of pocket for another pair and another eye exam

Absolutely horrible experience I have been lied to time and time again my mother has to when she takes her glasses back they replaced the side pieces but never give her her frames when she offered to purchase them the extremely rude hateful and unprofessional if they cannot be professional than they have the wrong job they're supposed to have a friendly demeanor and they weren't absolutely horrible especially AJ and Jennifer. Will never return a purchase glasses from Walmart Vision Center. If you need a pair of glasses. In Mount Sterling go to Bluegrass Vision Group they are kind thoughtful and courteous and they want you to be satisfied with your purchase. The customer is always right.

The vision center folks have been great from the start. The Doctor there is more concerned with how to make money then earning your business and caring for your needs. Trying to give me a diabetic exam that I already get from the VA is something that ticked me off. I just needed an eye exam that I don't get at the VA.

I am a very pleased customer.and just to say I will be back. I went to lens crafter in Lexington and got my script. They immediately rushed me next store to there glasses selection. This is in Lexington mine you, where I picked frames and lenses.after it was all said and done. The price tag was six hundred and fifty bucks, and that was with ins.i guess I had sticker shock. I paid the price and left for home. I got to thinking on my drive home that was to much.So when I got back to mtsterling, I went in to Walmart and showed them my script. They immediately told me they sell the same lens, and there is no way that what they told me was true. They hooked me up with glasses and sun glasses for under 200 bucks, and I got money back for buying the sunglasses.I was tickled pink. They at the time were not giving exams, but that's why I went to Lexington. But I'm sure they will fix that problem soon, if they haven't all ready. Thank you guys and gals for the wonderful service you provided.

I have called all the Mt sterling Walmart vision center numbers that are available on google, but each time I get a boy who insists I have to call the doctor next door. After I ended up with him the 3rd time he gave me the name of Amy Thacker to google. I called that number 3 times but it is always busy. Don't all doctors have a voicemail box where I can leave my information in 2021? I will now have to go to the more pricey eye doctor in Mt Sterlin for new lenses.
