In this day and age where you are just a number, Dr. Kitchens's makes you feel like your his only patient. No rushing and actually discusses what is best for you and what do you want to see happen. Very refreshing especially since he is an expert in his field. Great physician and great bedside manner. A great commodity in this day and time.

I could not be more pleased with Dr. Kitchens and his staff. He treats my 82 year old mom with dignity and respect. He is extremely knowledgeable and will explain diagnosis in detail answering any questions. I would highly recommend him to anyone!! One of the things that makes him such an amazing doctor is that he just speaks openly and plainly.

Everyone who works at Retina Associates is dedicated, knowledgeable, and professional. They are great. They are very efficient but answer all your questions in depth. Dr. Kitchens is awesome. He is very careful, kind, and knowledgeable.

I do highly recommend the Retina Association of Kentucky. I have been going to them for the last 8 years. They have helped me to save my eye sight. The drs and techs are very knowledgeable and helpful. They are kind and understanding. They treat every patient with respect. They do their best to put each one at ease, to be comfortable and relaxed. My Dr is Dr. John Kitchens. He is always friendly kind and willing to take time to explain and answer any questions or concerns. I have had other interactions with several other drs there and they all react in the same manner. I am so glad they are there for me.

First, I would like to say that Dr Kitchens is the best Retina Specialist ever. It's an honor to have him as my doctor. For this I give God all the Glory for sending him to me. He is such kind and caring Retina Specialist. Everyone here are so good at their positions. I am getting ready to have major surgery with Dr Kitchens as my surgeon. Am I nervous? No, because I know who will be guiding his hands as he does the surgery. I know God is in control here. No matter the result of the surgery I will be ok, because I have a Savior who is the Great Physician of all! He will guide his hands as he does the surgery. I know unless God performs a Miracle on me, I won't see from that eye again. I've been healed three times in my life and my family was told I wouldn't make it. I'm still here at 73 years old and in good health except for my right eye. I have one that's 20/20 vision. Thank you for hiring such special doctors and employees you have. It was my first time there and I really felt very comfortable there Dr Kitchen and his staff were amazing , He takes time and listen and explain everything and he made the shot I received in my eye painless and very compassionate and he cares for his patients, I would Highly recommend anyone to him , very Friendly and nice staff and a Very clean Facility, Thanks to Retina Associates, Wonderful People that care ,
