Ms. Joanne is so incredibly sweet and made sure my son was able to be seen, and Dr Griener has wonderful bedside manner, and made my son smile a ton. As well as ensuring to get to the root of the problem!

Northshore Eye Associates provides good glaucoma care for both eyes. Their new associate, Dr. Stephan Lau, has successfully treated changes in condition through prescription eye drops and surgery. This disease does not go away; treatment is ongoing, so a good doctor is necessary.

My cataract surgery went surprisingly better than I expected. Dr. Lau and his team was great from pre-surgery prep to post-surgery follow up. The facilities are comfortable and up to date, and the staff are kind and competent. I will use them for my next surgery as well.

Everyone at this practice is wonderful especially Dr. Lao. He took time to address my concerns and was very patient with questions. I was fearful about how successful my cataract surgery would be given some other health issues but Dr. Lao and his staff were very reassuring. Both eyes were done successfully and down time was minimal. I would definitely recommend Dr. Lao and his staff and Northshore Eye Associates.

I want to thank Northshore Eye Associates staff and especially Dr Stephen Lau for the excellent care I received during my cataract operations. You guys were always so friendly and professional. I would recommend Northshore Eye to everyone that has eye issues. I can see clearly now since my cataract surgeries. Thank you so much.

Mrs. Debbie (at reception) is singlehandedly RUINING this business. I have been a client of Dr. Griners since childhood, he has performed surgery on my eye after an injury, we have family that travel from Chalmette JUST to see Dr. GRINER... HE IS SIMPLY AMAZING! Mrs. Debbie, however, has the WORST attitude of ANYONE that I have ever had the displeasure of "working with". This is the THIRD time she has been absolutely and openly rude with me personally, I've witnessed her speaking terribly to other patients, and unfortunately the straw that broke the camels back was with my husband today. I understand having a bad day, we own a business and work with clients daily... multiple seperate occasions during various visits.. and years... is not a bad day, it is a bad attitude. As the "face" of the company at the entrance of the building this is NOT the kind of employee you want representing such an outstanding business. Despite my loyalty to Dr. Griner, this single employee has me considering leaving and finding another practice. So very rude and unprofessional. In the past she has scheduled me for an appointment, written it on a card for me and handed it to me. Nothing out of the usual there. The date was a few weeks out for a follow up and I closed my business to attend this appointment. Upon arrival I was told I had the wrong date that it was the FOLLOWING DAY. She was very rude at this point. I handed her the appointment card with THAT date and time not the following day and she threw it in the trash and said it was "obviously" written wrong because the date in the computer was different. So I left and closed my business for TWO straight days. Even then I continue to return to Dr. Griner because he is simply the best. I am safe to say that may not be the case after today's encounter with Debbie downer. Dr. Griner is THE best.... however he would fair better with new receptionist. My DOG revieved better treatment from staff at our vet!

VA Community care sent me to DR Griener and all I can say is he and his organization are a class act. I would recommend any Veteran who can qualify for community based care to request Northshore Eye Associates. My treatments were at the Hammond LA office. Thanks DR Griener!

Been going here for YEARS and originally started at the Mandeville location. Loved that one. Ever since I switched to this one (10years ago) they always seem to mix up my chart with my little sister's. She is 9 years younger than me, how can you get that mixed up? The receptionist is VERY RUDE and has been here since I switched over. Maybe she's a family member or family friend because she's always been here and has always been mean. Dr Leger and Dr Griener are amazing though, so is the lady who helps with finding the right fit of glasses. Lately I've been playing phone tag with them regarding test results. I tried to call but no answer and I can't seem to leave a voicemail. Last time I went in person I spoke to the receptionist regarding my test results to which she responded "we can't find your chart we will call you when we do" THEY CAN NEVER FIND MY CHART. As I said before they always mix up me up with my little sister. Whoever is in charge of medical documents needs to do a better job and the receptionist needs to brighten up.
