Doctor is incredibly competent and personable and that is what the one star accounts for. Otherwise, I'd put this place in the negatives and I came here from Walmart Vision Center. Point blank, most of the staff is rude. I tried to make an appointment and they hung up on me, when I finally reached someone they seemed rather irritated with my questions and rushed me into scheduling. Main office is small and disorganized rather than the actual optometrist's office. Staff could not efficiently answer questions about pricing and gives a slightly different answer every time. To the doctor, you need new staff or new training BADLY. The office prestentation is disorganized and extremely unprofessional.

Best glasses I've had in a long time! I'm extremely near sighted and my prescription is often wrong, but these were great. The doctor is great, professional and the staff is fantastic. Yeah, it's not decorated all fancy like other places, but it's clean and they are great! Thanks!

The Dr is amazing And the girls are phenomenal. I have never had a doctor and nurses that waited on me the way they did very friendly, very professional. Thanks to all of them

Worst, laziest place I've ever been. You'll do better going to Walmart! I will never come or go here again. Staff is lazy and they all have attitudes. All they do is sit on the phones all day long!

Worst place ever to get your glasses. They're cheap, but the worst service. I received glasses in 2021, tried to get more in 2022 and they didn't even have my records anywhere I had to resign everything. They barely have ANY glasses to choose from, everything is missing off the shelves. They're very very slow, very dismissive !!!! Their card machine has been down for YEARS. It's steaming hot inside the place, and they are like turtles. If i were anybody, I wouldn't go back. I'm going pick up my last pair, and never giving them anymore of my money.

Two stars for a great staff. Only reason I'm giving them two is due to their not answering my calls. Phone rings off the hook. Called 9 times today. Phone stayed busy after 2pm. I will update this review once I get through to them and get a status of my order. Until then, Two stars.

PATHETIC! I walked into Rivertown Optical on May 8, 2015 and found two ladies in the office; both were playing games on their cell phones, and only the one behind the counter acknowledged my presence. Despite that, I ordered a pair of no-line bifocals. I was told that the glasses would be ready in two weeks. On May 22nd I called for my glasses, but no one answered the phone. Since then, I have called repeatedly and either no one answers the phone, or the line would be busy. In almost 2 months, they have answered the phone twice to say 1) that information with my name couldn't be found probably due to Lab backup, and 2) they still could not find my order and after holding the phone for ten minutes, I was promised a return call in one hour, which I never got. This is the worst optical place I have ever been to. Both the office and the front staff need major improvement. Bottom line, you get what you pay for! P.S. I gave a two star rating simply because I don't hate it, but I would never recommend it to anyone.
