Dr. Cheryl L. Neu, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Cheryl Neu for over 20 years, seeing her for my annual eye exams and prescriptions for contacts and glasses. Not only is she my favorite doctor, she saved my eye sight. I am saying, if Dr. Neu had not diagnosed a condition in my brain, I would be blind today. Before seeing Dr. Neu, I began having severe debilitating headaches for 1-1/2 years. I saw every doctor imaginable, did every cranial procedure imaginable, 3 MRIs, 2 catscans, an angiogram, spinal tap and took every type of medicine imaginable trying to discover what was causing my headaches. Two days later in outpatient surgery, a surgeon placed in a ventricle of my brain, a VP shunt and this shunt relieves excess fluid and pressure from around my optic nerve and pressure from my brain. The fluid pressure in my brain was 3-1/2 times more than the normal and the surgeon told me I should have been comatose with that amount of pressure on my brain and spinal cord. With the headaches I was experiencing I could not work or spend time with my small children. Dr. Neu gave my life back to me. Dr. Cheryl Neu is the ONLY doctor that prevented my blindness and no other doctor had even considered that an option. I thanked God for Dr. Neu. I had two small children at the time and I would have missed seeing all of their miracles if it had not been for Dr. Neu. After having so many procedures and seeing so many doctors, I was so over the medical profession and their procedures and meds. However, Dr. Neu is the only doctor I trust. She gave me a miracle and she saved my sight by finding the right diagnose. My yearly appointments with her are something I never miss or take advantage of. Dr. Neu always checks my optic nerve to see if anything is developing or isn't as it should be. I cannot express enough how thankful I am for Dr. Neu.
