Family Eye Clinic

If you are looking for a good location for eye care and your time is valuable then keep looking because this is not it. They have ridiculously long wait times that are totally unacceptable. My wife has had to go back multiple times, due to the long wait times as well as the Dr prescribing a brand that my wife has never had a good experience with, as a way to force her into the brand that they use at this location. She let them know the brand was uncomfortable and wanted the brand changed on her prescription so that she can get the brand that she always uses. She has made multiple visits and she still hasn't been able to get things resolved. I guess they think people don't have jobs, and can't waste an entire morning just for a Dr to look at you and say everything looks good. So we are picking a new location due to how horrible this location is. There is literally no excuse for 2-3 hour wait times. What's the point of making an appointment if you're not going to adhere to the scheduled time. I honestly don't know how they are still in business.

My son went in for an eye exam , they made him feel extremely uncomfortable! We also had to wait over a month for him to get his glasses. And when they did come in , my mother bought him to pick his glasses up and get them adjusted and they don't even fit right. They crack every time he tries to put them on. This is a sorry excuse of an eye clinic. I wouldn't recommend these people to NO ONE ever!

The customer service is horrible. I ordered replacement glasses since October 23rd and whoever the lady is answer the phone never know anything and always stating someone will call me back, in which they never do. Do better !!!!

Impossible to get in touch with. I brought my son and forgot a school excuse. I called several times, spoke to the answering service who said they would let the clinic know. I've tried to email & it comes back undeliverable. I have tried to Facebook message and it does not send. I live an hour away so I was not driving back for a paper (especially with today's technology - it can be emailed or faxed), but this is insane. Today was the last day to turn in an excuse and I STILL cannot get in touch with anyone.

I have been going to the location for over ten years and I recently went in this past month for my yearly checkup it was a nightmare. I booked the first appointment and still had to wait for hours to see the doctor. Had multiple issues with their eye equipment the tech I had couldn't make one of the machines work so I waited for about 40 minutes on an exam just to be called back to see if they could get it to work. The appointment felt rushed by the doctor and techs. I was given a new strength for my contacts, but was told they didn't have my strength for my trial pair so I was given the next closest thing to my prescription. I called back for about a month to get the correct prescription strength and went in three to four different times to switch out contacts or to talk to them about the prescription. After over a month of going back to get wrong prescription after wrong prescription on 9/5 I was told I am no longer able to see them as my eye doctor. I was told the cops would be called if I stepped foot on the property. I called and talk to the office manager Heather and I asked her to have the owner call me and I she quietly hung up the phone on me. Now I'm a month out I paid for a new contact prescription and visit and was never properly seen or had my issues resolved from the appointment day. I need to get in touch with management but I have no way to as when I call office no one will speak to me and I get hung up on. Please if anyone can help or sees this please give me a call or an email.

I believe they scheduled to many people (greedy) for that Medicaid and Medicare ! They over booked patients and when they see you have insurance they tried their hardest to get you to purchase more expensive glasses! I Believe Medicaid and Medicare should look into their policies and not everyone who walks through the door needs glasses.My Opinion and I Stand By It

Said they couldn't get one eye to "20/20" The whole appointment was super rushed. I was there on time but they seemed to have over booked themselves and were rushing to get to lunch. I opted to NOT get glasses with them. Wouldn't even let me ask questions about why they couldn't correct one eye to 20/20. Had to wait a whole year for another appointment elsewhere. Dr. Broussard at Today's Eye Care got me to 20/20 in both eyes. Over priced and low quality.

The manager, HEATHER, allowed For the clinic to steal from a patient and violated HIPAA. This clinic stole from my husband and will not allow him back into the clinic. They also broke his glasses. This has been over the course of years now. Asked to speak to owner, the manager Heather thinks she owns the place and will not put me in touch. There are a few other decent Medicaid clinics in town, and they even answer their own phone calls! Today's eyecare is a good starting point for anyone looking for better care. This place is a scam! Reporting the HIPAA violation was easy, don't let this company screw you over
