Eyemart Express

I had a great experience with Will at Eyemart Expess! He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He also has a great sense of humor. I received my new glasses within a 1.5 week time. Very happy with the quality!

Do not go here for eye exams! I made an appointment, and I was not aware it was a telehealth appointment until the confirmation email. I should have backed out then, but I went anyway. I specifically made a contact lens prescription renewal appointment. I have worn contacts for over 20 years, and I am very aware of the process. When I got there, they told me they do eyeglasses automatically but didn't say it was an extra charge. I found out when I was leaving and had to pay $89.00 for a glasses prescription. After my appointment with the doctor on the screen, I was informed they didn't keep trials in the building for me to be fitted for. They would need to order them. I would have to come back in 5-10 business days to put them in. After that, I still wouldn't leave with a prescription. I would need to wear them for 2-3 days and come back yet again. At that time, they would authorize my new prescription. Three trips to get one prescription. Absolutely ridiculous! I live an hour away! I called to see if they had an update on my trial pairs coming in. I was told someone would call me back. I'm still waiting for the call back. Five days later, I still have no contact prescription, and I am out $89 for glasses I didn't want or need. I felt bad for the lady at the front. She was the only live person in the building, seemed very new, and had no support. She was nice and friendly. This review is not a reflection of her.

I had an exceptionally positive experience at this optometry practice. Shayna and Emily demonstrated remarkable patience and professionalism throughout my appointment--they meticulously explained every aspect of the examination with clarity and composure, putting me entirely at ease. The entire staff is courteous, attentive, and highly competent. I enthusiastically recommend this practice and look forward to returning!

By far the greatest experience getting glasses. After having a really bad experience at a previous eye place I decided to try Eyemart and I'm glad I did. They all were super friendly and helpful,very thorough and was able to answer all my questions and concerns. I was also very impressed my glasses were ready in 30 minutes. If I ever need glasses again I will not hesitate to use eyemart again. Thank you for a great experience

Augusta location: Clean and modernized office. Both techs were absolutely brilliant and amazing. However, the doctor was drier than a peice of toast. There was also a remarkable difference in how the doctor treated myself and my husband. Argumentative and condescending when addressing me, yet my husband receives professional decorum and pleasant bedside manor. Interesting how that worked.

I had the BEST experience! Shayna was very helpful in getting myself and my husband into new glasses and since my insurance didnt cover anything she helped us with all the available options making it affordable and manageable! Our glasses came with a 1 year warranty too! What a wonderful experience!

The Augusta, Maine location was very professional and helpful in finding me the glasses that look the best on me and because I have Progressive they didn't need to be sent out, but they were back within the seven day timeframe they had originally told me. When I picked my glasses up, the girl was very friendly and smiling and was very helpful and making sure they fit and looked great on me.

Stopped in for a new pair of glasses for my daughter. Having never been in, I had zero expectations...but was blown away! The customer service was excellent and the glasses were ready in 12 minutes from the time we ordered them. They were also 1/4 of the price they would have been if we ordered them from the eye doctor's office. I'm very happy!
