Nevertheless, he took my glasses, repaired them in a few minutes, and charged me virtually nothing. In the middle of a 23 hour car trip to Maine, my wife's glasses were broken---she really can't see at all without them. We called an ophthalmologist in Ellsworth for a recommendation for a place to have the glasses repaired. We were referred to Mr. Pierson. I was informed that "he is the best!". He was. He was able to fix her glasses in minutes for a very reasonable charge. He was very courteous and professional. Our golden-doodle dog liked him too! Thank you Mr. Pierson!

We were on a trip to Maine when my glasses came apart. A screw had come out and we couldn't find it anywhere in the car. It was Labor Day so we stopped at Walmart Optical. Boy, was that a waste of time. The bewildered man behind the white lab coat said the two screws they carry would not fit the size we needed. Then offered to sell me a new par that I could have in 10 days.?...? I bought a pair of cheaters to get me by the rest of the day. Well, to make a long story shorter, my wife searched the internet with her phone and found Dr Pierson. He is a true craftsman. He had all the right parts to fix my glasses, tighten all the loose ones, and give them back as good as new at a fair price. It's sad where our country is going. We all find it harder and harder to find professionals that can fix anything. Hooray to Dr. Frank Pierson! Ellsworth Maine and all of us are luck to still have a Craftsman that would rather fix it, when possible, than throw it away.

Mr. Pierson's service is excellent: he is thoroughly professional and efficient in insuring that glasses are a good fit; answers technical questions clearly, and above all, shows an abiding friendliness and courtesy towards his customers. Anyone who deals directly with customers could learn from him. His office abounds with vigorous green plants and there is window box full of thriving geraniums at the entrance: he simply says "pants are good for the air". That reflects his healthy, upbeat approach to vision care.

I was stuck with a great pair of Maui Jims in need of repair. My regular eye doctor couldn't fix them but suggested Frank Pierson on Main St in Ellsworth. My glasses where fixed while I waited for a very reasonable fee. Very happy to have them back. Thank you.

As a real professional Mr. Pierson fixed my broken glasses when I was in journey in Maine, so that I could drive again and return to my country. They are still functional, I hope for the time to get New glasses.

Once again Frank helped me out by fixing my broken glasses for a nominal fee--and I haven't even bought a pair of glasses from him...YET! You better believe I will when my prescription is updated.
