Comfortable atmosphere, very nice office! The lady at the desk was kind, Dr. Gove was professional and friendly, and understood my needs. Betty was helpful with helping me choose frames and completing my order for glasses. They have a large option of frames :) Very pleased with my first visit to their office. I'm excited to get my new glasses!

I am so upset with the treatment by the doctor this morning. I cannot believe she would argue with a patient about what is happening with the patients eyes, when she is clearly not the person wearing the glasses. After coming to this clinic and getting a prescription, my son began to have a "fish-eye" distortion while looking through his glasses and severe headaches. He could wear the glasses that he spent $400 on. She proceeded to argue with him regarding just getting his previous prescription so that he could get his lenses updated. This is why we stopped coming here years ago. She was very rude to me, but we thought we would give them another chance. That will never happen again. Very eye opening experience for my son.

yesterday at my appointment the Dr got pretty mad and gave me an attitude stating I needed to get my eyes Dilated but I refused and she said it was law that I needed to be, when since? they took like 5 minutes to do a exam. me and my 2 daughters were all in and out in 10 minutes, the longest part was waiting for the printer to print out prescriptions and then added PRISMS to my daughters when we said NO and again said they were law, which is not true. what happened to refusing care? I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN THEY ARE VERY UNCAPPABLE OF THEIR JOBS

Got the wrong prescription. Was told that is was correct but I still can't see out of the glasses at all. Asked to get a corrected prescription via text and was told that it's normal for my prescription to be very different from my previous one. But I can see better out of my old prescription compared to not at all with the new one. Edit: I was able to get an appointment Corrected prescription doesn't work well.

I was a patient of Dr. Mailhots pretty much from my birth in 1986 until I was 15ish around 2001. He is a very warm and positive memory of my childhood. I even had vision therapy there around 7yo for awhile. He had kind eyes, was always pleasant, patient and even kindly jokingly threatened if I didn't take care of my eyes, he would no longer allow me to have contacts (I never took them out and always had infections). I now live in Mississippi and I randomly decided to check in on how he is doing these days and how is practice going. I am sad to see that it is not thriving as it once was, these reviews of the new doctor make my heart sad. I'm seeing many children do not have the same positive experience that I did when he was there. He did great work for many years and I was hoping his legacy would live on in that very same building I spent so much time in over the years. Well I hope that he is doing well and that life is treating him kind. I'm only giving 3 stars because I can't give him personally a 5 as he isnt the main dr there now and it doesn't feel right to give 1 when I haven't had my own experience with the new doctor. He was a 10.

Dr.Grove is nice however the office staff is not so nice. The lady that dose the glasses is very rude. They mess up my contacts and gave me the wrong scrip that I paid for. I had to go back and lucky Dr. Grove fix it however when I went to pick the correct box up the lady had no explanation to why I got someone else contact to start with. You would think that they would double check to make sure that they handed the patient the correct pair. My husband got contact and glasses also no issues with his contact. We do have an issues with his glasses however that the clip on sunglasses lens came out. We have a the lens however its not in the greatest shape now that they came out. I asked what could be done to get them replace either a warranty claim since they are not that old or what would it do to get a new pair. I was told that we can't just get the clip on that we would have to get another whole new frame. He had clip on before and we have been able to get just the clip on without getting the whole set. It would have been easier for the glasses lady to said these are your options, but no. Will not be going back there. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere even know that they have a shorter wait period it not worth it.

Dr. Gove was extremely rude to me! After expressing some frustration about my eye health, Dr. Gove told me I was being aggressive and I needed to "take a step back" What Doctor says things like this to their patients? The office is short staffed and the dr. Is trying to do everything thing herself. She is overwhelmed, and should not be taking her frustration out on her patients.

I needed to get my daughter in for her first eye appointment and Family Eye Health & Contact Center made the process so easy and fun for her! We were able to get an appointment the week after I called. The doctor talked her and I through all the processes and worked with her when she would get nervous or anxious. Every single person made her feel so special and welcome! We can't wait to go back and pick up her glasses in a few weeks. Thank you again for making this process such a success and enjoyable experience for us! I would highly recommend them!
