Every person working in this practice were friendly, welcoming, and professional. I normally don't write reviews but in this case I have to to let people know this practice is highly recommended.

Michelle at check in is friendly and inviting. Kristen was awesome at explaining the eye exams and procedures and puts you at ease. Cheyenne was great and knowledgeable about the types of frames and lenses and all the coatings. I left having no questions. Highly recommend this office!

Great facility amd amazing staff and Doctor! This area has been missing a good eyecare place due to retirement of good doctors! Yay

Over the last year, I've had several frustrating experiences with this practice that have ultimately led me to take my business elsewhere. There have been recurring scheduling issues, long wait times (including once being left in an exam room for 45 minutes only to be told the correct contacts weren't available), and poor communication when ordering glasses. One of the biggest ongoing issues has been the lack of responsiveness from the Rockland office -- I've rarely been able to reach someone by phone, and my voicemails have never been returned. Today, I called the Damariscotta office (after not being able to reach anyone at the Rockland office) to request my contact lens prescription. When I mentioned the phone issues at the Rockland office and suggested that feedback be passed along, the person I spoke with paused and replied, "...Okay, and what can I do for you?" in a tone that came across as annoyed and dismissive. While I understand anyone can have a bad day, this interaction -- along with the pattern of service issues over time -- has left me disappointed and discouraged. I've tried to be patient and give the benefit of the doubt, but unfortunately, I no longer feel confident in continuing care with this office.

A friend recommended this office. I have had only positive experiences. I suffered from a corneal abrasion. I was seen the same day and received great care. I highly recommend,

Great doctors and friendly staff who went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of! They were pretty busy when I went in for my appointment but only had to wait a short time before being seen. Excellent selection of glasses too. Would recommend

I was seen as a patient in December of last year. I was given a new prescription and trial contact lenses, and told to call back to order more lenses with this prescription when the trial ran out. I called back numerous times over the last 9 months and have never had my message returned or reached a human. I reached someone for the first time today, and was told they had no record of my prescription or visit, which was alarming to me. I do not recommend and will not be returning.

I received a bill for glasses i purchased 6 months ago. I paid for them at the time, on 2 different dates in three payments. Rockland eyecare had no record of these payments and expected me to take time from my day and provide proof. They considered this a "mistake", "everyone's lives are busy", they said! This was not simply a mistake, many errors that they need to take responsibility for, not me!! I was not impressed with the staff who i spoke with or communicated with via email. There was no taking responsibility for their many screw ups! On a 1 star positive note the person who helped me order new glasses was wonderful.
