My wife and I both had cataract surgery this year. Dr Williams was the best. Made us feel very comfortable and his surgery and office staff are very friendly and efficient. Highly recommend Dr Williams.
After my surgery I even won a golf tournament without my glasses of fifty years. Amazing being able to see clearly after all these years. Thank you Dr. Williams and everyone at Chesapeake Eye Center.

He performed cataract and implant surgery on both of my eyes. He is brilliant and kept me informed on what to expect throughout the procedure and recovery periods. Dr. Williams' staff is top-notch! My wife Barbara and I had our annual eye exam today with Dr. Todd Besak, DO at Chesapeake Eye Center, located at 10231 Old Ocean City, Blvd., Berlin, MD 21811.
We were given a vision test, eye pressure test and a full internal eye examination.
Barbara and I had cataract surgery and have full range vision lenses.
Dr. Besak performed Barb's surgery in October, 2024.
Dr. Besak is friendly and professional and an excellent eye surgeon. His staff and medical assistants are outgoing and make patients welcome.
I recommend Dr. Todd Besak and Chesapeake Eye Center for complete eye care services.

DO NOT LET BAD REVIEWS STEER YOU AWAY
By far the best place on the shore for eyes.
I have been living on the Eastern Shore for 56 years and out of all of the eye centers Chesapeake Eye has been my favorite. Despite moving to DE for a bit, I still drove an hour to Chesapeake Eye. You may see the poor reviews, but this place is amazing. I always feel so well taken care of and I had such a successful procedure 4 months ago. The old doctor retired and I have seen Chesapeake Eye flourish.

Patients BEWARE. Just got the FIRST BILL on Sept 3 for last visit.
(all medical bills come "after insurance pays" and bill me for balance due)......
On Sept 11 (1 week later) I got a nasty NOTE BEFORE PLACEMENT. Said "SEVERAL attempts made to notify me of outstanding balance. Sending to collection if not paid in 30 days". WHAT!.
Add small print at bottom of bill 3% CHARGE FOR CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS. Went to online payment site where credit card options with NO NOTICE IN Terms &Conditions about the 3% extra charge. Since when?
Potential and current PATIENTS BEWARE.
This didn't happen last couple of years. What has happen to them!!!

I recently had Cataract Surgery and corrective lenses put in both of my eyes and I had an excellent experience at Chesapeake Eye Center. Dr. Yonker, who did the pre-op examination and testing, was great! He took his time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly responded to all of them. Dr. Bescak, who performed the surgery, was very patient with me and explained the procedure that he was going to perform in great detail, which definitely put me at ease! Both Doctors were very professional and personable, as was their office staff and surgical staff! It was the easiest and most painless surgery I've ever experienced. I would highly recommend Chesapeake Eye Center for Cataract Surgery and lenses as well as for any other eye care needs that you may in have. My vision is clear and no more wearing glasses!! Thank you so much, Chesapeake Eye Center!!

I went to Chesapeake Eye Center for the first time last week. I was quite impressed by the friendly and helpful staff there. I saw Dr. Yonkers who came highly recommended to me. He did not disappoint! Dr. Yonkers made me smile the minute he walked in the room with his personality and energy. After the eye exam he explained to me what his diagnosis was with the problems I was having with my eyesight. He put me at ease with clear insructions and a hand out to take home with me that can help slow down the progession of the disease. I highly recommend Chesapeak Eye Center and Dr. Yonkers.
