Yesterday I went to buy my first ever pair of prescription sunglasses. It was a great experience. All of the Peninsula Eye Care frames were eligible under my insurance and Yolanda was careful to choose sunglass frames that were covered without co-pay. So I had lots to choose from. She was great about asking me what I was looking for in sunglasses and helping me choose a frame that met my needs and suited my face. Super satisfied!

I have been waiting for 9 weeks to get an appointment to get a cataract removed. Dr Metcalf and staff were great. I have called the office 3 times and I'm being told Dr. Metcalf schedules the anesthesiologist.

My wife went here months ago and unfortunately found the staff to be very disorganized. Her contact order was done incorrectly multiple times, it was delivered to the wrong store location (and getting that rectified took way more time and more phone calls than it should have), and months later she is STILL getting calls that "your order has arrived" even though we stopped doing business with them after the above fiasco. They're very pleasant people but they just don't seem to have their act together. EDIT Aug 2025 to add: we just got ANOTHER call from them today about an appointment she missed in June. That appointment was the one she went to -- in June of 2024! They STILL haven't figured out she isn't a patient there anymore!

Dr Metcalf is the best. I trust him. He has given me quality comprehensive care since I started seeing him several years ago

My husband and I have gone to this office for several years. Have found everyone friendly and knowledgeable. Especially Jessica who runs the optical department. She is the best. Very friendly, professional and thorough.

This place shouldn't even be available, if you have a child with autism avoid this place. Tech was great until she felt the need to belittle my son outside the door with the ophthalmologist, she came in making my kid so uncomfortable he was scared demanded he get his eyes dilated when I opted to not due to him being autistic. Then they gave my other son his prescription charged me to have script printed and messed up the numbers to where I can't even get him glasses...

The eye exam people fo a good job. The lenses and frames operation is not a pleasant experience. With a mask on and all of my vaccinations I was told to stop b4 entering the fitting area so the technician sprayed the area with disinfectant. It was done in an extremely unprofessional manner. Get your new glasses at the Salisbury office.

My appointment with Dr Metcalf and staff at P E C in the Berlin office today was a pleasure. Sam led me to the exam room and asked the necessary questions for the visit. She was informative to me for my questions and a genuine happy young lady. It was my first visit with Dr. Metcalf after years with Dr Forte and the transition was a pleasant experience
