I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Dr. Mendez and her entire team. From the moment I walked into the office, I was met with professionalism, genuine care, and an exceptional level of expertise. Dr. Mendez took the time to truly listen to my concerns, thoroughly explain what was going on, and develop a plan that addressed the root cause of my symptoms. The results have been remarkable -- my eye health and comfort have improved dramatically, and I can genuinely say this is the best my eyes have felt in years. What stands out most is how invested Dr. Mendez is in her patients' well-being. She and her staff go above and beyond to ensure every visit is comfortable, informative, and tailored to your needs. I am deeply grateful for the care I've received and would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Mendez to anyone seeking an eye doctor who combines skill, compassion, and true dedication to her patients.

Dr. Mendez and her team of assistants are the BEST! My husband and I started our annual eye exams with her in 2024 - and have been very pleased. Dr. Mendez patiently explains what the exam elements are showing, and thoughtfully listens to any concerns we have. She provides clear guidance on potential changes to our vision and what action to take if/when that occurs. Meanwhile, her personable team of technicians ensure the accuracy of information gathered through the state-of-the-art equipment so that the time with Dr. Mendez is not interrupted. The front desk team quickly review your vision insurance benefits in order to quote costs. The practice ensures that frames and lenses purchased through them are of highest quality, and can adjust fittings if needed after you wear the glasses during your normal activities.

Dr. Mendez is very attentive provider. She has been caring a critical issue on my eye. She made a thorough diagnosis, close follow up progress and monitor the changes. She explain the root cause clearly so that I understand the problem lay out the treatment alternatives with all pros and cons. Her practice, is so cool and her staff treat patients with great disciplines and ethics. This practice is really highly commendable for its services.

We really appreciate Dr. Mendez and her team. Everyone was very attentive and helpful. Dr. Mendez took the time to explain the exam results and explain the different options avaikable. The optical department was very patient during the glasses selection.

I had several friends recommend Dr. Mendez and she had seen my husband for a severe case of pink eye. Lovely staff. What I appreciated was Dr. Mendez listening to my questions and then asking if there was anything else on my mind. They are very patient. Great experience.

Absolutely wonderful practice, Dr. Mendez and her staff were incredibly knowledgeable, thorough with their evaluation and questions and made sure i understood everything and all my options. Dr. Mendez did a truly functional evaluation - making sure that the lenses for the BVD I was evaluated for were tested not just with reading text on a wall, but also on my phone and looking around the room, walking around, answering any questions I had. Very transparent on pricing before we even got to the counter to see any lens frames. They also had the option for me to bring in my own frames to get new lenses put in them, which not as many places offer these days. 10/10 experience.

REALLY bad experience with this place. The way it works for the prisms is you get an initial prescription, get those lenses (for a VERY high cost, like around $800), wear them for a few weeks, then go back for a second exam to see if your eyes adjusted and need a more refined prescription. Then they will swap out the lenses for free. I got an exam done last year and was prescribed the prism lenses. I asked if I'd be able to get the lenses put into my existing frames. They said yes. I then asked if I'd be able to get new frames if I ended up needing a second prescription. They said yes, and said it would not cost me extra because they could do it in-house instead of sending it to the lab. Then the lady said my glasses frames were too delicate and was like "okay, I'm sending these to the lab." BUT she did not clarify it would cost more to later get new frames and did not ask if I was okay with that. So I got the lenses with my existing frames, wore them for a few weeks, came back for the follow-up exam and got a stronger prescription. I asked again, would I be able to get new frames for these new lenses? They said yes, but the lab would do it for $100. I was a little pissed because they'd initially implied it would be free/failed to explain there'd be an extra cost. But | let it go. Then, I waited a few months to actually take the next step and get the new frames because I was extremely busy and sick with an autoimmune disease that was one of the main reasons I was trying to get prisms in the first place (to support my overall health). So a few months later, I found the frames and called the glasses place saying I wanted to get the second pair of lenses. I reminded them that they'd told me it'd be $100. They said, "oh, because it's been a few months, we can't offer you that discount anymore." It turns out there's a 120-day window for this "discount." THEY NEVER TOLD ME THAT. So the price would be like $800 or whatever it is. So now I'm stuck needing the stronger prescription but can't get it because they won't honor the original price they quoted me, or even compromise with me. How was I supposed to know there was some kind of time limit? Don't go here unless you're fine with being DECEIVED.
