I had surgery done in their Elkton office. The staff was very professional and welcoming. Everything was explained to me prior to surgery, and as well as every step on the date of surgery. The doctors, nurses, anesthesiologist, etc., were very knowledgeable about the surgery and truly amazing. I don't care for needles nor any kind of surgery, but they had me so calm and relaxed that I wasn't even bothered by the IV. When I was looking for pain it was already done. They made sure I was straight before I left and followed up on my care within a couple of hours after I left. I would definitely go back again and I highly recommend them to anyone needing their service.

This office has really stepped up their game. I'm a nurse and I realize how important it is to be compassionate towards my patients..Mary took care of me and she was so patient and kind. I had been struggling with reading up close and she took her time and now, I don't need reader glasses even though I'm wearing contacts. Dr. Bristow was also kind and she walked me out. In the past I went in and they took care bit yesterday it felt like they cared. Thank you

Terrible Terrible terrible ... made an appt online and show up after taking 1/2 day off. Was told I was not on schedule and they blamed their call service for not taking down the online appt option. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! Stay away from this place

Many wonderful people work here, with one exception.
Dr. Bristow......
Doctor was overwhelmed after waiting 50 minutes past the appointment time, she
came flying in and was downright rude, obnoxious,
condescending and could have cared less about any eye issues. When
addressing me she was very, very, very sarcastic. I would never recommend this person to examine a dog. Do yourself a favor and go
elsewhere and get the great treatment you deserve,
because you will not get it from her!! I'm still shocked about how unprofessional
she was and continued to be throughout this encounter.
She did not examine my eyes, I walked out in utter
disbelief. This person should not be dealing with the public at all, in any capacity.
Now after talking, with friends and family, I learn others have had the same experience. Disgraceful!!!!

I am writing this review on behalf of my mother, who recently had an appointment with Dr. Bristow and experienced an incredibly unprofessional and inappropriate encounter. Instead of addressing my mom's eye issue, Dr. Bristow veered into a conversation about her political beliefs and even discussed conspiracy theories regarding child pornography on a political figure's laptop.
My mother was shocked and uncomfortable, eventually having to abruptly ask her to stop the conversation. Such behavior is not only unethical but completely inappropriate for a medical professional. Needless to say, my mom will not be returning as her patient.
This needs to be addressed internally, as it aligns with numerous other negative reviews that highlight Dr. Bristow's unprofessional conduct. She is obnoxious, prying, and far from the standard of care any patient deserves.

Dr Kimberly Bristow is the best ! I was having episodes of going blind in my eye so I went to the ER and was told it was caused from migraines. I was told to see the eye doctor . I made an emergency appointment with Dr Bristow and right away she was very concerned and advised me to go back to the ER . She told me it was not a migraine and I needed testing . So I decided to go to Wills Eye hospital. After lots of testing they found I was having mini strokes . If it wasn't for Doctor Bristol I would have went on thinking I was having migraines and could have had a really bad stroke . Thanks to her I am on the proper medication and right treatment .
