Dr. Jeffrey Chung is very professional and thorough. Although he is listed as a retina specialist, he does do some acute care. He does a very good job of explaining things to patients in ways they can understand. I like how he is very straight forward with his approach, yet still easy to talk to. His assistants are very skilled, affable, and helpful. I went to Dr. Chung with a large corneal abrasion from my 1 year old son. I tried to hold out for 3 days but it was too painful. He was able to get me in very fast and give me a good treatment plan. The way it was cut was in a way that takes long to heal. Thank goodness it has been healing well and is almost all of the way back to normal. Thank you Dr. Chung for explaining my condition to me and giving me a concise treatment plan. I highly recommend Dr. Chung. Him and his staff run a solid operation.

Dr. Chung is amazing, professional, and nice to patients. I just came for a follow-up exam for a surgery done elsewhere and he treated me nicely and patiently in the same way as his own patient. He also thinks carefully for patients when giving suggestions (saying something like "if I were u, I'll take this treatment"). Very recommended.

Great doctor, thought I was suspected to have glaucoma during my regular eye check up, ask me to come back for the glaucoma screen. When I was hesitate to treat my glaucoma the rest of my life and doubt the diagnosis, he recommended the best expert in the area Dr. David Friedman at John Hopkins University in Baltimore for second opinion of the glaucoma diagnosis. After my confirmed diagnosis of moderate glaucoma by Dr. Friedman, I have decided to switch back to Dr. Chung for the treatment. With the early diagnosis of my glaucoma by Dr. Chung, hope I will preserve my sight and don't go blind.
