Michelle May, OD, FCOVD (Advanced Family Vision Care)

TLDR: if you need a pair of glasses, go here; if you have a TBI you are seeking treatment for & even let them know beforehand, AVOID THEIR PRACTICE AS YOU NEED NOT MERE LEPROSY. When I last saw Dr May some years ago, she struck me as an excellent OD, so, as she did vision therapy for TBI patients (I have to wear an eyepatch on my right eye, or things get VERY bad), she seemed like an obvious choice. My most recent visit (9/12/2023), I went in for vision therapy; never even got a chance to speak with her despite having scheduled an appointment. I did discover on the 12th (after some of the most agonizing, near-seizure-inducing tests, and I'd returned home) it was possible to vomit SO long & with such force *every* muscle in my upper body hurt; gastric juice went down my bronchi because I had to breathe, and thanks to their incredibly unqualified tech's treatment (Miranda?), I was in so much agony, and I still have a splitting, near migraine headache on the left side of my head which won't go away, and lasted for about a week; still have it, though it now only feels like someone occasionally hammering my skull (as of 10/06/2023) Very Sincerely, J

We've been seeing Dr May for a few years, she does amazingly well with my children who are on the spectrum, as well as my husband and I. Scheduling is usually easy.

She's very professional and friendly. Nothing but positive experiences every time the kids and I have gone.
