Panoptic Eye Care - Crofton Eye Doctor

I absolutely love this place! Even the eye doctor was incredibly kind and attentive. I've never had anyone care about my eyesight as much as I do, which meant a lot to me. I truly wish I could give them 10 stars! Naomi is top tier I absolutely adore her! Thank you to everyone for such an amazing experience.

Really great office. Good customer service and very polite. The doctor Ive been seeing is also very nice. They know what they are doing. And they know that today customer service is king for a lot of people. If you got good customer service where you are competent, and then polite and kind to your customers you are going to rule. This office is very well managed and run. Competency and kindness is key and they have it.

Dr. Koon is excellent! She's very thorough and pleasant to deal with. Really, everyone there in the office is excellent as well.. The practice is a huge plus to the Crofton Community! :)

It's rare to find an eyecare practice that goes above and beyond just selling eyewear. Dr. Koon's establishment is a gem in our community. Not only is her expertise unmatched and her staff the epitome of kindness and patience, but their commitment to the community is genuinely heartwarming. Their recent anniversary celebration showcased this, with generous giveaways of gifts, school supplies, and tech items to community members. A visit here is more than just an appointment; it's an experience of genuine care and community spirit. Highly recommend!

Every person in the office was wonderful!! From the person who checked me in, to the doctor, to the person who helped me pick out glasses. The person helping me with glasses was infinitely patient and let my daughter try several pairs and then even figure out what color she wanted. I could not be more pleased. It was also the most thorough eye exam I have ever received. She even explained to my kids how various behaviors affect their eyes and gave them pointers on overall eye health.

Dr Koon is so great, very thorough. The staff is outstanding as well. One of the best opticians in the area. She is very proactive as well!

I'm giving at least 3 stars because the doctor is fantastic - truly top-notch care. However, the staff is a different story. My first visit in 2022 was great, no complaints. Fast forward to September 2024, and things have changed. This time, I had new insurance for both me and my child. I provided all the information upfront, sent everything they asked for, and we confirmed the exam would be covered. Fast forward to the day of the appointment, and suddenly we're playing the "is your insurance valid?" game again. Not ideal, considering this was already handled. I opted not to purchase my glasses there because I found the prices a bit steep, though they do carry great brands. I did, however, buy glasses for my child. They said they'd be ready in two weeks. Three weeks passed, and nothing. I had to call for an update only to find out the frames were on backorder. No one thought to inform me earlier, but okay. They promised they'd be in next week. When they did arrive, I called ahead to confirm their closing time was 5 PM. The next day, I took off work early to pick them up, and despite my best efforts, traffic had other plans. My GPS showed I'd arrive at 5:02 PM, so I called at 4:45 PM, just to give them a heads-up. I was told (quite firmly) that no, they wouldn't stay two extra minutes for me to pick up glasses that were already paid for. I get it - 5:02 is asking a lot, apparently. I suggested shipping them instead since their hours are not exactly accommodating to working parents, and they kindly informed me that would cost $24.99 for 3-5 day shipping. Yes, I paid it, and yes, the glasses arrived in two days. But the whole experience left me more than a little frustrated. I even had a future appointment scheduled for December, which I will not be attending. They've officially lost two patients, and I won't be back.
