I am not sure why the negative reviews. I've been taking my son to see Dr. Preslan for over a year now. He is exellent at what he does. My son was 4 when he started seeing him. He has always been patient and kind to my son. Yes he is strict about only having 1 parent with the child and no siblings. I don't see a problem with that. He knows his stuff and that's all that matters to me. My son's eyes are doing great!

If I could leave zero stars I would. Not that this review matters either because his last day is Friday. My 2 kids have been going to him for 8 yrs now. They had their last appointment with him today. My son coughed once in the waiting room and you would have thought he had the plague. He had his receptionist (he couldn't do it himself) tell me my kids couldn't be seen because he(my son) has the flu. I'm pretty sure this is an eye Dr, not someone who can diagnose the flu from 1 little cough. I thought he actually cared about his patients, especially long term to see them off, but I guess not. Crazy covid rules 5 yrs later, poor bed side manners. All the other negative reviews make sense to me now. Happy retirement, it seems like it's been a torture of a job for you.

My daughter has been a patient here since she was 2 years old, she is almost 10. Dr. Preslan is a great doctor, he is the BEST at what he does. His staff is very attentive to each and every single one of their patients. Do not believe the negative reviews for this doctor. They are very clear with their policy upon scheduling an appointment and remind you of it when they call to remind you of your visit a few days prior. If I could give them more stars I would!

Had an appt for my son, just had a baby who was 10 days old at the day of his appointment. They don't allow siblings but yet don't require masks. She's in an infant seat so not sure what the problem would have been. My son was not seen and i had to cancel his appointment. I told the lady twice i had no one to watch my daughter. They don't care. It's a shame because my son had been going there since he was a toddler. Staff said hopefully the policy will be lifted next year. I am not scheduling on a hope, so i have switched ophthalmologists for my son.

Dr. Preslan is a good doctor, my daughter had been seeing him for 10yrs straight. When my other daughter came in need of glasses I took her to his office. Last yr I had a newborn, I was allowed in the office with her, this yr I came in as well with my baby and they had me cancel my appt. The front desk staff told me their policy which I'm aware of which wasn't an issue the yr before. Dr. Preslan put on his mask and walked up to me to tell me his policy himself.. why wear a mask to come up to someone and tell them something when he wasn't wearing one prior.???. Seriously a clown for both of us. Anyways, I won't be taking my daughters to this office anymore,I'll be saving my 40min drive for a doctor who decides that he's going to pull it off by wearing a mask . Like a previous rater, we don't have family members to watch our kids, some our homeschooled, some of us are not currently employed to pay for care for 2-3hrs for an appointment. Maybe it's time to retire if you're going to wear a mask to tell a patient of a policy , it's safer to be home. Covid is a thing of 2020-2022 . Wake up, its 2024 .

Honestly, I am not sure why he is a pediatric ophthalmologist because he is not good with kids. My daughter got assessed at 3/4 years old and couldn't sit still. Instead of creating trust with her, he spoke down to me and was more concerned that she might get into his things. So the next visit I brought my husband, and it was interesting that we got a little bit better treatment with male presence. The only reason I gave him 2 stars is because he is good at the technical side of his job, and helped with the diagnosis of my daughter's eye. I ended up getting a second opinion because I didn't trust him as an overall person.

absolute worst staff and rudest doctor ever. I would give negative stars if Google allowed me too! I show up for my daughter's appointment with her brother because I didn't have anyone to watch/babysit him. I walk in and they refuse to see us because of their "Policy" of only patient and 1 parent allowed. I asked why they have that policy in place the doctor said " I don't have to explain myself to you". Safe to say I did not reschedule with them! I dont see this practice being open for much longer unless their attitudes and demeanor change. Absolutely horrendous!

My son has been going to dr. Preslan for years. The last time we went he was nasty to my son and I had to step in. This time I had my niece with me due to a family emergency. My niece is 10 she was very quiet and playing on her phone not touching the toys or anything. They told us we had to reschedule I told them I took off work to bring him and I am single mother I can't keep taking off work. She said the doctor had a policy so I asked to speak to the doctor. I didn't say anything else she kept saying the policy over and over I asked to speak to the doctor again. She told me to wait in the hall so I did I went back in and the office manager told me due to Covid I told her Covid is over then she proceeded to list all these diseases. I am the parent of high risk infant who had heart surgery at the age of 3 I didn't need her to try and make me feel bad for having me niece with me who is not sick or has any symptoms of being sick. I offered to put a mask on her whatever I could do to accommodate. Dr. Preslan came out to the hallway and told me I was rude to his staff apparently me not arguing with the staff and walking away was rude. My son has had multiple specialist and we have dealt with all sort of medical situations and I have never been treated so poorly or my son!
