Elman Retina Group - Glen Burnie

My 1st time here everyone made me feel very comfortable. Dr Elman is great he takes his time to explain everything also there's videos that show you exactly what to look for..

I was very nervous about my visit with Elman Retina Group. The folks were so nice. I couldn't have been more pleased with my visit. From check in to check out, the staff was just amazing.

My experience with this office and doctors are wonderful...I've been going about 3 years and my feet right eye is doing great thanks to Dr.Sydney.Thank you everyone

Dr Elman had us wait 2-4 hours with my 95 year old mother. Didn't think anything of it until she moved. Her new Doctor is 30-40 minutes start to finish and eyesight has improved and only every 11weeks. I traveled from N.C. every four weeks during Covid to take her to her appointment with Dr Elman. One time they closed the office without notifying us. We showed up to a closed office. The next day they wanted to push us out 3 weeks. I needed to get back to N.C. they didn't care and in the past when we tried to push it out a week they gave us a hard time. His male nurse raised his voice at my Mom when she tried to get out of the chair. She put her hand on his shoulder. He proclaimed he had a bad back and my 110 pound 95 year old mother hurt his back. He was a young big man. Basically Dr Elman is over booking patients and doesn't seem to me that he cares.

I had my first appointment on November 21, 2022. I must say I was a little apprehensive and nervous. Everyone is so professional, and make your visit so calm. From my first encounter when I walked through the door, the nice Assistant helped me with signing in look so easy. Everyone is so helpful and explained each detail and what to expect next. The waiting room area made everything so comfortable while you wait. I must thank the twins, that helped with the dye injection feel so relaxed. (Excellent Duo Team). Excellent staff and the Receptionist was awesome. Dr. Dao put my mind at ease and explained everything to me in terms that I could relate to. For anyone that needs excellent eye care, please make an appointment with The Elman Retina Group. I give this office 100 Stars. Nice atmosphere and everyone treat you with respect. Excellent Customer Service and would recommend this office to family, friends, and colleagues.

This was my first visit with Dr. Elman and it was a pleasurable experience. He was very professional and patience with me while addressing all concerns surrounding my eye issues. Each staff member (Kim, Bridget, Ashley, Hanna and Dallas,) I came in contact with was friendly and professional too. I am thankful for my conversation with Bridget as my hand sanitizer has a pleasant scent. She told me to add essential oil to it. I have never been so pleased with a doctor's visit as I was with this one. Keep doing what you all are doing. It works for me.

Scary experience. Suddenly lost vision in one eye. I called my PCP. Was told it would be 8 days before I could get an appt. Went to ER. 6 hour ordeal. Was told vision loss was permanent (although they confessed they were not eye experts).got sent across town to an ER that had an expert. 5 more hours and they still hadn't called my name. Went home dejected. Google search led me to Elman Group. 24 hour on-call. My wife called and set an appointment for right away. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, compassionate, and confident. They run tests. Take pics. Dr. Schechet enters room. First thing he says is, "Don't worry. I can fix it". And, he means it. Anxiety floats away. He lays out 4 options. Tells me to choose. I ask for direction. He gives it. I say, "OK. Let's set it up." He says, "Nah. Let's do it right now." A half hour later and I'm back on the street. Vision already beginning to slightly restore. I have 2 more appointments over the next 2 days (read that as "immediate treatments") and some healing. But, I'm thanking those lucky stars I found this place.

I didn't like my experience at this Dr office that's just how I feel but I won't recommend this place I won't go back
