Vision Essentials Optical Center | Kaiser Permanente North Arundel Medical Center

I've tried give Theresa Nguyen the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe it's just their personality. I truly think she doesn't like her job/doesn't working here. I came down after my optometry appointment to look at frames. After a little bit I decided none of the frames suited me/my style. So I asked her if I could go somewhere else for frames to have them filled. With the worst attitude she said I could and essentially shoes me away. I came back a week later, May 23rd, and decided I actually just really still enjoy my current frames so I asked if she could just get lens made. She said I could and that I would receive a call when they were ready and I would need an appointment to have the frames put in. June 19th I call the Kaiser line as I have received no notifications. Representative says they're ready and makes an appointment for me. I check in, wait in the lobby as I was prompted to (although she isn't helping anyone I don't want to bother/ upset her off of previous interactions). the time for my appointment approaches and I'm not called. Then someone walks straight up to her to get their frames. Once their done I go up to her and let her know I had an appointment for my glasses and I'd been waiting for her to call my name. She then chuckles and says "really?". However, when we're done she then calls the guy up that was sitting where I was previously sitting?? I can honestly say I come into Kaiser with a great attitude and have nothing but positive things to say about my/other providers I've seen. Her attitude is truly off and doesn't seem to be on of someone who wants to help

Theresa Nguyen is the consummate pro: capable and pleasant. She does basic eyewear repair quickly, and answers all my questions. That's why I don't mind driving a little out of my way to get to the North Arundel Kaiser.

Theresa Nguyen was the optician who assisted me. Because of my prescription, I was having a very difficult time getting glasses that worked correctly, and had gone through 3 different pairs of glasses from another vision center. Theresa was extremely helpful, informative and informed. She made the process simple, her suggestions were on target. She really knows her stuff. It was a pleasure to deal with her.

Christy was amazing! It was my first time picking out glasses, and she made the whole process so easy!
