Robyn at Mt. Airy Eye Care has been superb in my recent visits there. She always has a smile and makes you feel right at home to make sure you receiving the best care and results. Very professional and also welcoming in her approach to you.
I can say I have had similar experiences with the rest of the staff when I have had interactions with them. All the Dr.'s there are very accommodating and work with you to find the best eyecare for you too!

I tried about 3 years ago to tell my dr that I was having more trouble seeing, my appointment was rushed and I was told there was no change with my vision no change with my prescription, my vision continued to decline but i was so off put by my last few interactions here i just stayed away, so finally I went to a new eye doctor to find out not only did my vision get worse one eye is horrendous the other eye is trying to overcompensate for it making it worse causing migraines for the last few years that I blamed on my sinuses. So thank you for being yet another doctor focused on a pay check & not listening to your patient, you can kindly stop texting me to book an appointment with you, I wont be back

Shout-out to Dr. Rennie and Dr. Rudeau--both fantastic. But after 5+ years here, we're moving on. I'm disappointed with the practice's inflexibility and customer service approach.
My son had an eye appointment 7 months ago and was scheduled for a contact lens fitting. Due to his discomfort with touching his eye, he wasn't able to complete the fitting process.
When we called to reschedule another fitting appointment, we were told we'd need to pay for another full visual exam. Since insurance only covers one exam per year, this would be an out of pocket expense. I don't recall signing any contract that would bind me to such restrictive policies.
This inflexibility and focus on revenue over patient care is disappointing, especially for a long-term patient.
While the doctors themselves are wonderful, the business practices have led me to seek care elsewhere. I'm moving to a practice that demonstrates they value their patients beyond just the bottom line.

I had a 'medical' appointment this afternoon with Dr. Rudeau, who confirmed the issue is related to my existing dry eyes problem. What a relief! As we walked to the front desk, she said 'no charge, on the house'. Now that is some stellar customer service!!!
