I want to start off by saying this , Dr. Boaz Schwartz is just simply the best of the best in all the east coast and definitely all of Maryland! We struggle so much to find a keratocnus & corneal doctor and had to go through 3 different places which at the end finally someone mentioned us about Mt.airy medical eye center and since the moment we stepped inside the office they treated us with so much respect and gave us a warm welcome! We are so blessed to have found this place my wife went from seeing absolutely nothing to a 20/30 vision ! praise the Lord and this amazing doctor may he keep using him to help families all around the world ! Thank you so so much We could not be anymore thankful God bless you even more ! If I could give you one million star review I would !

Had the best experience with Dr. Schwartz and the whole team at Mt airy medical eye center! Mark at the front desk is amazing and made me feel so comfortable as a new patient. Dr. Schwartz is extremely knowledgeable and I felt like I was in great care with him. Cannot recommend them enough!

When visiting Dr Schwartz and his team I am getting the best service possible. Dr Schwartz is so knowledgeable, he explains everything, takes time to explain details of my vision and any eye care needs. I feel fully confident and trusting in the care I receive!

Dr Schwartz is the best. Our family has been going to Mt Airy Medical Eye Center for years. The new location is very nice. The staff are super helpful and will assist you with finding the most flattering frames!

Unfortunately, my experience with this office was very disappointing. When I scheduled my new patient appointment, I clearly stated it was for new lenses only--not new frames--as my insurance at the time only covered lenses. I completed and returned the new patient forms as requested. However, the day before my appointment, they called to confirm my insurance details and the reason for my visit, and I repeated the same information. At the appointment, after being taken to the exam room, the doctor informed me that he couldn't provide new lenses unless I also got new frames. I've worn glasses most of my life with the same insurance and had never encountered this issue before. He insisted it was due to insurance policy, not his office. After the exam, he told me I could shop for new glasses. I informed the front desk that I likely wouldn't be selecting new frames because they weren't covered by my insurance. The staff behind the desk stared at me, and I felt judged and uncomfortable. One receptionist claimed she had informed me of the frame requirement over the phone, which absolutely did not happen. I left without the lenses I desperately needed, feeling incredibly frustrated. Since then, I've visited a different eye doctor who was able to fit new lenses into my existing frames with no issue. When I explained what had happened at the previous office, they confirmed that what I was told wasn't true and suggested that the other office may have been trying to upsell me unnecessarily. I would not recommend this office to anyone. It was an unwelcoming environment, and the quality of care was far from acceptable.

I chose to get an eye exam at Mt Airy Medical Eye Center based on my perception that they would provide the most comprehensive and technologically advanced exam available. I was not disappointed. Dr Schwartz and his team took their time to ensure all of my eye health concerns were addressed, charged a fair price for their services, worked seamlessly with my insurance, and fitted me with glasses I love.

I've been wearing glasses for about 45 years, and thus, have seen many optometrists and ophthalmologists over the years. I must say that I have never had such a thorough examination as was given me by Dr. Boas Schwartz. He was even able to correct the distorted vision caused by inflammatory changes of the retina of one eye giving me 20/20 vision in that eye as well. Thank you kindly. Dr. Bill Hall
